Win It: The Diamond Vault Collection Custom Diamond Eternity Band and Sally Hansen Cosmetics

Hey chicklets!

Happy Friday!

Word on the street is Sally Hansen has partnered with Brides Magazine and The Diamond Vault Collection so one lucky winner will win a custom diamond eternity band. I’m so not ready for marriage but I wouldn’t be opposed to sportin’ a diamond ring around this finger! Yes please.

Along side the band you’ll also be entered for a chance to win a collection of Sally Hansen cosmetics, in our case that’s probably better than diamonds right? We love our makeup don’t we? Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Nail Color and the new Sally Hansen 12 Hour Lip Treatment will be among the offerings.

Visit www.BridesFirstLook.com this week for your chance to win.

Guest Starring in the Muse’s Shower

Products come and products go in and out of my shower. It’s like a revolving door in there as I’m constantly changing up what I’m using from day to day.

At the moment the following products are making a guest starring appearance in my shower (all contents in my shower stall are subject to change without notice).

  • Aquafresh Foaming Toothpaste

I’m normally really super duper picky about toothpaste but I recently fell hard for this! First off I adore the pump packaging and secondly I really dig how it goes from a gel to a mouth full of foam as you brush! Loves it!

This stuff is cheap plus it feels so great on my face! I like loading up my L’Oreal Scrublet with it and going to down on my face. It makes my skin feel squeaky clean after use and lathers like a dream while feeling really cooling on.

OMG if you seriously miss MAC Volcanic Ash here’s a perfect dupe. I don’t store this in my shower but I do USE it on my shower since anywhere else creates a mega mess. The formula completely refreshes my dead, tired skin and makes me glow!

I’ve been retesting this brush for the past few months and I’m kinda leaning towards saying I actually love it as my original review was less than stellar.

These are the worst! They load my hair down with silicones in such a fierce way but I can’t stop sniffing my hair after I’ve used them as I have a few in Lush Dupe fragrances that I can’t not use like Snowcake, Candy Fluff, and Snow Fairy! Who doesn’t want Snow Fairy scented hair?

  • Lush Doctor Peppermint Shampoo Bar

I thank the baby jebus every night that Lush Retro has returned Doctor Peppermint to the scene. It’s my favorite shampoo bar because it smells so minty fresh! Gorg!

  • Lush Lime Smoothie

This is gorgeous stuff! It smells lovely and the formula is so creamy. It lathers up like a dream and can be used to cleanse or shave with. It rarely leaves my shower.

Lush originally introduced this shower as an LE run but has since brought it back. Thank GOD! It smells incredible, you needs it!

MAC should have their head examined for making this an LE item. It’s possibly the best facial scrub I’ve ever used.

Fav Philosophy Shower Gel of the moment! Loves it!

I’ve been using a Scuba Toothbrush for over 15 years. My best friend dubs it the hairbrush for your teeth because it’s so large but I don’t care I love it. Totally a fabulous toothbrush and my dentist thinks so too!

I really love the scent of this stuff plus it’s a nice shower facial scrub!

  • Lush I Love Juicy

IDEAL shampoo for those seeking a silicone-free existence. Makes everyday a good hair day.

  • Lush Retread

Lush’s thickest, creamiest conditioner!

What sort of goodies are Guest Starring in your shower at the moment?

Beauty on a Budget: Physicians Formula Bamboo Wear Bambuki Brush Review

Hey loves!

So, I totally have a thing for mega size kabuki brushes even though I don’t technically embrace the world of bronzer. I mean when you think of a massive kabuki you likely associate it with bronzing powder right?

Yea well, the Muse’s mentality differs on occasion.

I recently purchased the Physicians Formula Bamboo Wear Brush because I was all about, “OMG what a fabulously big old brush to dust on powder for Summer!” and than I was like, “ZOMG how fab for blush?” Don’t worry the second though was quickly erased from my head considering how heavy handed I am with blush already…seriously? Big old kabuki+heavy hand=OOOOOO no she didn’t use that much blush!

Anyway….

I wanted the Physcians Formula Bamboo Wear Bambuki Brush ANYWAY! So I purchased it for a mere $4 bucks.

Musings of the Day: Have You Hit Pan?

Ahhh the voyage of hitting pan. I don’t think I’ve actually taken the full trip myself. Hitting pan on any cosmetic is probably pretty much a myth around these parts and if I ever did hit pan it would probably be a super legendary feat.

Wanna muse hitting pan with me?

Have you hit pan on any of your favorite powders, shadows, or other products?

Not so much?

Jump ahead to hear about a product I recently hit pan on!

This is epic!
