Laura Mercier Mini RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eyeshadow Trio A Worthy Investment

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Laura Mercier Mini RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eyeshadow Trio ($29) is a new, limited edition selection of mini Caviar Sticks from the Roseglow Collection for Holiday 2022. This is the first time these shades have appeared in a Holiday Collection! The Roseglow Caviar Sticks launched last Summer in several shades and recently they launched a new Roseglow Blush Collection.

I can’t say I’ve tried the blush but I ran as fast as the wind when those eyeshadow sticks launched and I grabbed a bunch of shades because not only do I love this formula but I adore a good rose shade!

As I said above, this is the first time they are launching these in a Holiday Gift Set. I always buy these sets around the Holidays because they are a consistent formula and a good value. This set contains three of the Roseglow shades in:

  • Kiss from a Rose (shimmering petal pink rose)
  • Strike a Rose (shimmering terracotta rose)
  • Moonlight Rose (peachy pink rose gold)

I don’t need this set because I have all the full sizes but I gotta admit my dream is for them to do a new Caviar Stick Vault! They released one in 2019 and I know it won’t happen anytime soon (I doubt they’d do one with the way the beauty world is right now) but I’ll sit here wishing for another one of those.

Laura Mercier Mini RoseGlow Caviar Stick Eyeshadow Trio is available at the Sephora app and launched tomorrow online!

Tarte Holiday 2022 Goes Hard with New Palette Releases

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Tarte Holiday 2022 has launched and as always they are going hard with this collection. Tarte Holiday Collections are legendary for including a wide variety of releases and many items that end up being exclusively available at QVC, Sephora, and also, Ulta. When it comes to Holiday Makeup Collections I’d go so far as to say that Tarte is the one brand that does the most for the season.

The focus of the collection is the recently released Tarte Maneater After Dark Eyeshadow Palette. I had a feeling this was going to be an eyeshadow palette they promoted heavily for Fall and also, for Holiday 2022 and I was right. They are indeed using this as a man piece in the Holiday Collection. It’s a gorgeous palette and it did catch my eye which is somewhat hard lately as I feel like I’ve been through just about every shade of eyeshadow in the rainbow.

But, wait, there’s more. Tarte Holiday 2022 is hitting us hard with many new palette releases! Not only eyeshadow palettes but also, blush ones too! There are tons of new palettes available that are either sold alone or in a set that includes other items!

One thing I noticed about this collection launch is the marketing photos. I honestly would past up a lot of these items because I have TONS of Tarte palettes but wow the models in these promotional images! They are all glowing! It’s literally made me want to purchase one or two items! Everyone looks so good! Pay attention to some of the model images and tell me what you think! I thought everyone looked incredible!

Buckle up, friends! And check out some of what Tarte has in store for us this year.

Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork Vol. IV Transcendence Palette Illuminating Eye & Face Pigments Makes Me Go Ouch

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork Vol. IV: Transcendence Palette Illuminating Eye & Face Pigments for Holiday 2022 is a new multi-use palette that contains 14 color-shifting, chromatic shades. I recently became a Danessa Myricks Beauty fan after purchasing some of her Colorfix Eye, Cheek & Lip Cream Pigments and Infinite Chrome Flakes Multichrome Gels. If you have a chance do try them! They are fantastic.

This palette looks gorgeous and is sure to be a hit with fans of color-shifting eyeshadows. I don’t doubt the promised chrome and metallic finishes will be vivid, bold, and rich. Danessa does not disappoint in the pigment and finish department. I have several tubes of the cheek and lip cream pigments and they are outstanding across the board when it comes to pigment and the gorgeous sparkle or metallic I get from them.

This palette contains the following shades:

  • Trance (electric sapphire to deep violet)
  • Nirvana (fiery copper to olive green)
  • Divinity (sparkling citrine)
  • Sixth Sense (pistachio green to cool taupe)
  • Out of Body (jade green to peacock blue)
  • Intuition (brilliant cyan to soft lilac)
  • Heaven (glimmering mint to pastel chartreuse)
  • Paradise (glimmering fuchsia to forest green)
  • Aura (brilliant iris to hazy violet)
  • Zen (beetle green to honey bronze)
  • Angels (sparkling diamond)
  • Trippy (rose gold to pine green)
  • Escapism (electric shamrock to hunter green)
  • Awakening (intense teal to regal amethyst)

One of the best parts about Danessa’s products is the fact they are all eye safe. I imagine even the “pigment” part of palette will be eye safe. Granted, I’m assuming this and don’t know it for a fact but from my experience with her products do not have any “unsafe” eye warnings.

Now, as lovely as the palette is the $125 palette is making me lose my mind. Sephora labels the palette as “full size” but doesn’t give exact size information! So, maybe it’s worth the $125 if the eyeshadows are say 0.05 oz in size. But lord, $125 is still hard to digest.

Do I need this?

Probably not. It’s not something that will be added to my collection just because I don’t think the shadows will get enough love but also, I’m unsure if I really want to drop $125 on an eyeshadow palette in one go.

How about you?
