Benefit Java WANDERful World Silky-Soft Powder Blush is a new, permanent rosy mocha blush with a matte finish that launched for Summer 2022. Java Blush is one of twelve new blushes that Benefit Cosmetics has launched which appear to have replaced such as Galifornia, Dallas, etc….

I think the hopes for Java is that it would be a Dallas replacement but this is a far deeper, darker shades and very unique compared to anything that Benefit has launched in their Box O’ Powder Collection before. Interestingly enough many of the shades I’ve tried so far like Terra and Moone were quite bold shades in the pan but worked out great for me. So, I was a bit wary of them at first but they turned out beautifully in the end.

I have been more than pleased with every single shade I’ve tried so far but I’ll admit that Java had me a tiny bit worried. Does anyone remember the old Indian Earth mineral makeup? It came in a little terracotta jar and had a cork top. That’s kind of what this shade reminded me of. It’s a very bold, dark reddish brown. It’s incredibly warm, very rich and bold. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off.

Is anyone else as sad as I am that Native Toasted Marshmallow & Vanilla Body Wash isn’t available as a shampoo or a conditioner? As you know, Native introduced some really cool Fall 2022 scents recently and of course, Toasted Marshmallow & Vanilla Body Wash is part of that collection.

Now I happen to be an addict for anything that smells like marshmallows especially toasted marshmallows because s’mores are a gift from the Gods themselves. I can’t blame Replica for this one! I’ve always been addicted to marshmallow-scented anything. Ooey gooey and if it has a bit of smokiness to it even better! I was in Target last week hunting down the Native Warm Cider & Cinnamon Shampoo and Conditioner and I came across Toasted Marshmallow & Vanilla Body Wash and deodorant!

I’m pretty sure a light shined down upon me that day as angels circled my head and sang about toasty marshmallows and hot cocoa and comforting Fall things in my shower.

Farmacy Holiday 2022 is now available and yes, the Holiday Party Green Clean Trio has returned with brand new fragrances! This limited edition gift set features three mini Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balms in brand new fragrances! Last year I snagged this super fast and I’m glad I did because it sold out rather fast after the Sephora Holidays Sale Event happened. We got Strawberry Basil, Lemon Mint, and Peach Thyme in the Holiday 2021 set, and this year we are getting Pear Punch, Tangerine Twist, and Blueberry Burst! Sounds yummy! Sadly, the price did go up but the contents remain the same at 1.7 oz each. This year the set is $46 whereas last year it was $42. It’s not a major price change but it still deserves a mention.

I will purchase this one for sure as I really enjoyed last year’s set! I just hope it doesn’t disappoint me the way the Peaches ’N Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm did as the peach scent was very light in that formula.

Too Faced Holiday 2022 has arrived and it comes with a selection of yummy makeup palettes scented with marshmallows, cookies, and gingerbread! For the last several years Too Faced Holiday Collections follow a pretty similar theme of candy, cookies, cakes, and other Holiday Treats. It’s a novel and cute selection of items but unlike the Tarte Holiday 2022 Collection, I fail to see anything I really need to rush out and buy immediately.

These are the types of palettes that make great gifts but the shades are super repetitive from many of the past Holiday launches! The package changes, the names of the shades changes, but the actual shades are super easy to dupe if you’re one that’s hauled a lot of Too Faced Holiday releases in the past. Some of the mini palettes are terribly cute but again, the shades just aren’t quite unique enough to warrant a purchase for me. Speaking of mini eyeshadow palettes the You’re So Hot Mini Eyeshadow Palette (it smells like hot cocoa) is probably one of the most a unique offerings from this release. It’s made up of selection of taupes and browns which is quite unlike Too Faced normal range of shades.

Sephora has launched pieces of the collection on their website with exclusive items and Ulta should be following along soon as well. Both Sephora and Ulta tend to get their own exclusive palettes and I’m sure HSN will probably get something too this year.
