No, Billie Eilish Eilish Eau de Parfum Doesn’t Smell Like Teenage Wasteland

The single most annoying thing about being a Who fan is when people find out you’re one and proceed to say, “Oh yeah! I really dig them too! That song Teenage Wasteland is epic!” And you’re either one of those people that doesn’t like to correct others and just sits nodding and smiling only to later slam your head on the table in front of you or you’re bold enough to defend your favorite band’s song and tell them, “I think you mean Baba O’Riley!” I typically hate correcting people so, I smile, grit my teeth, and do the slamming of the head later.

That bridge will forever alter the title of that song. Do they regret it as much as I do?

Speaking of Teenage Wasteland if you thought the new Billie Eilish Eilish Eau de Parfum was gonna smell like teenage wasteland, teen spirit, or teen angst you’d be wrong.

I think we can all say that Billie has is seriously talented and initially, we may have chalked her up as another disposable teen musician but in reality, she’s and her brother are incredible artists. That being said a fragrance from Billie came unexpectedly for me.

Kiko Should Do a Chocolate Perfume! Oh Wait! They Already Have!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and of course, the boring, snoring chocolate gifts are on the horizon. Well, technically speaking, chocolate everything has been available since December 20th or so around here. I’m sure you’ve all been victims of what I like to call the “seasonal rush”. This is when stores hurriedly get out seasonal decor, gifts, etc… I only accept seasonal rush for one Holiday. Halloween! When Halloween hits stores in July I’m doing a little happy dance and singing “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!”. Any other rushed season or Holiday I am not about. So, yes, when I see Easter and Valentine’s Day hitting stores in December I groan and roll my eyes.

Valentine’s chocolates have been pretty much at most places around here since the end of December. Target was a little late putting them out this year and we didn’t see them pop up until the first week of January.

I’ve always been of the mentality that we don’t need one day to express our love for each other but I’m also not averse to purchasing a box of Star Wars Mandalorian Valentine’s Day Cards and sending them along with a Mandalorian Valentine’s Day Lollipop Rings to friends just to tell them I love them. Sometimes you just gotta embrace the commercialism of it all. This is the way.

Now, I think we can all agree that chocolate is one of the biggest gift grabs for Valentine’s Day. And perfume! Don’t forget the perfume! From one fragrance lover to another, I’d say perfume is a fantastic Valentine’s Day gift. But it’s also a personal and a very difficult one since purchasing a fragrance can be challenging for the gift giver.

Speaking about perfume gifts for Valentine’s Day…

The new Kiko Sweet Affaires Melting In Love Scent for Valentine’s Day 2022 launched recently.

Versed Smooth Landing Advanced Retinoid Eye Balm Has Advanced to The Buy Immediately List

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m heading in! The new Versed Smooth Landing Advanced Retinoid Eye Balm has advanced and moved from my buy list to my must-buy immediately list. It’s $17.99 which means it’s not going to break my bank too hard and as a HUGE, massive, giant fan of Versed The Fix Emergency Eye Mask, I figured I might as well give it a whirl.

This new formula is literally a balm that you can gently tap into your skin. It promises to soften finer lines, firm skin and contains a Granactive retinoid which is a lot less irritating than many retinol formulas. It also contains Vitamin E and black currant oil for moisture.

I’m very sad to say that The Fix Emergency Eye Mask has been discontinued. It was one of my ride-or-die skincare products but it’s now gone. I do like the idea of this eye balm but I haven’t had a lot of success with some of the other Versed eye potions like Zero-G Smoothing Eye Cream which had a very thin formula that provided very little moisture.

Although, more of an eye mask for evening use I even used The Fix Emergency as a daily eye cream as it wore well under concealer. Eye balms are great but I find them more a formulation more of an evening use item versus one I’d wear out as they don’t provide the moisture I need for my concealer application and also, just the moisture I’d need for all-day hydration.

That being said, I’m still very excited to give this new Smooth Landing Advanced Retinoid Eye Balm a whirl. It was one I insta-purchased when it popped on the website this week.

I’ll give you more details of how I like it as soon as I tried it for several weeks. If you can’t wait and wanna try it for yourself it’s available now on the Versed website.

Does anyone want to try this one?

Riddle Me This: Victoria’s Body Mists Are $19.95 or 5 for $38

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Guys, it’s been a while for me but how long have Victoria’s Body Mists been $19.95? I haven’t ordered a body mist from them in a very long time and I recently did an order over the Holidays as they were $6-$7 each for body care and body mists but at the time I didn’t take note of the original price because really who pays full-price for Victoria’s Secret or Bath and Body Works anything right?

But I just realized the body mists are $19.95 each. What?

Wait, what?

Hey, Can We Take a Second Today To Talk About How E.L.F. Cosmetics Used to Cost A $1 and Does This Mean We’re Old?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Remember when E.L.F. Cosmetics cost a dollar? Remember when they used to send those annoying e-mails comparing their version of a product to some high-end version? It used to kill me when they’d promote their $1 blush to NARS Orgasm. Remember when the Studio Collection was, GASP, outrage, horrifying, was $2!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you remember all this you’re old.
