I’m not a die hard marshmallow fan but I will say that marshmallows rolled in toasted coconuts I can’t get enough. Nom! And of course, melted marshmallows are just amazing…..you can reenact campfire marshmallow toasting by slipping one on a fork and holding it over an open stove flame, now that is some tasty stuff!
The new Philosophy Marshmallows for Toasting Shower Gel makes my tummy grumble for those fluffy little buggers!

I’m kinda mad at Philosophy.
Just when I convince myself I won’t be pulled back in their shower gel game, I get suckered back in. It’s like the shower gel mafia!
Recently, they started doing a super limited range of shower gels. Now, limited edition, can’t be taken seriously anymore in the beauty world. At one time, beauty junkies would quake in fear when someone even uttered the words LE. We’d all hoard away dupes of LE products and never pull them out of our beauty vaults.
But “limited edition” is tossed around to casually nowadays and gone are the days where we have to hoard dupes of products, makeup collections, etc…since stuff rarely sells out and that LE run is long……like years….introduce it today as Limited Edition and come back around the same time next year and that shiz will still be around on the shelf.
But Philosophy kicked LE back old school style with their Shower Gel of the Month Club at QVC. Each month, Philosophy introduces one single new shower gel that’s available for a single month before disappearing for good…! It all started out with Lively Lemon Coconut…!
Flash forward a few months and Summer brings Philosophy Maraschino Cherry Lemonade…
Moral of the story?
Get it now why the getting is good because it’ll be gone REALLY soon!

Philosophy has been busy releasing “Shower Gels of the Month” on QVC. The first one, which I missed (kicking self), was Lively Lemon Coconut back in June.
And for July we have Tropical Daiquiri! Seriously, what’s better than a mocktail in our shower that won’t give us a hangover in the AM?

I’m still rather piss-y that Cake Beauty didn’t release the Strawberry Shortcake Collection in the states. Le sign.
I hold a grudge for a while, beware!
Canadians can still take advantage of the Limited Edition Collection which is an ode to childhood days of old and features a best loved doll, Strawberry Shortcake!

Marshmallow chicks are the devil’s work. You know, those little sugary marshmallow concoctions that can probably survive Armageddon. Their slowly taking over the world, seriously, at one time they were an Easter thing only but now you’ll see Halloween ones, Christmas ones, Thanksgiving…they plan to rule the universe one day and you and I will be their little minions.

I personally do not like the taste of ‘em and I do believe they are evil, sincerely, but I have no aversion to a marshmallow sugar chick shower gel!

I have a rather sickening stash of various shower gels, I won’t admit to how many, even to myself. I’m not super keen on drugstore shower gels because most of them have those tiny beads in the formula, know the ones?
Those things are lethal. Seriously! I’m scared some of ‘em will slip into my butt crack a la a day at the beach rolling around in the sand. Not comfortable dude, not comfortable at all. Yes, I went there. Be honest, those little beads are totally unnecessary and can end up in all your nooks and crannies if you aren’t careful!
The new Clean & Clear Morning Burst Body Wash is a rather brilliant shower gel but damn those stupid beads….
