Freeman Star Fruit Purifying Facial Paper Mask ($1.99) is one of three new facial sheet masks that were recently introduced to the permanent line of Freeman Skincare products. You might recall I already reviewed the Blue Agave formula of these masks.
Although the Star Fruit formula isn’t for my skin type I decided to give it a whirl anyway and give you a few thoughts about it.
But it doesn’t mean I don’t love everything Rock Star related especially beauty bytes!
Julep Rock Star Hand Creme ($20) is an emollient hand cream blended with shea butter, glycerin, coconut oil, and vitamin E to keep your skins super hydrated. The texture is supposedly non greasy and quick to absorb and I heard a rumor (that I just made up) that Lars uses it before every single performance.
I miss his long hair.
I met him backstage once, I even touched him. And on the 21st we’ll resume our relationship from afar when I hit up the Apollo theater to see Metallica in concert!
But that’s a story for another day….!
I wonder what it smells like? Booze, cocaine, and cheap perfume? Naaa! Julep wouldn’t go that far with their Rock Star status. Or would they?
Shara Shara Petit Friend Blooming Water Beam Mist is actually a reader request review as a few folks expressed interest in learning more about the Korean brand, Shara Shara.
Shara Shara Petit Friend Blooming Water Beam Mist acts as a makeup fix mist or as a facial mist and obviously, as you can see, it has some rather cute packaging which is why it has garnered some attention from all of you recently.
Miracle indeed! I’m loving the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil Cleansing Oil! This one you’ve got to try. I think cleansing oils are so misconceived as people assume they’ll make skin greasy or oily. Prior to trying a cleansing oil several years ago I had the same notion but please don’t be put off by such silliness. Cleansing Oils are wonderful and helpful aids to remove your makeup quickly and easily.
The Maybelline Clean Express Collection launched here in the US several months ago and it includes an eye makeup remover, cleansing wipes, and even a facial makeup remover but unfortunately the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil Cleansing Oil is exclusive to Asia. Oh woe is me! Thankfully it is easy enough to locate across a wide variety of online shops but I’m hopeful for Spring 2014 that Maybelline might consider launching it here in the US as sadly our market is lacking a budget variety of cleansing oils!
