My review is a little late of the Missha Pig Dream Lucky Kit Type 2 but the eyeshadow and blush in the kit have become one of my favorite items to use when I’m doing a bolder or a nude lip look. Since Fall is here I want to start doing more brown lipstick shades and more nude looks too. The eyeshadow in this kit is my favorite for creating a really soft look on my eyes which doesn’t take away from the boldness of my lips!
There are actually two different versions of the Missha Pig Dream Lucky Kit. I purchased Type 2 when it released for Chinese New Year and second was gift to me by a friend for the New Year.
Korean Brand Innisfree is now available at sephora.com. Well, not all of Innisfree! It seems limited to a select amount of skincare but no color cosmetics. I think this is a weird and crazy move for Innisfree and likely a limited engagement thing as well.
First off, if you live in Manhattan and you hit up the Union Square Farmer’s Market I’m sure one of your stops is Innisfree. I know I hit it up before I go to the Farmer’s Market. It’s my little ritual to wander around the store and swatch and play. The girl’s there area really nice and aren’t aggressive plus the reward system is pretty nice. That’s why I’m not understanding why they would want to launch at Sephora as from my understanding Sephora brand contracts are pretty harsh. It’s been speculate debate that OCD Cosmetics’ demise was due to their launch at Sephora.
If you don’t live in Manhattan? Still no issues! You can snag what you need from the brand’s website. It just doesn’t seem cost effective for them to launch at Sephora. But I guess the exposure will be great for them. However, like most K-Beauty brands I suspect this will be a limited engagement. Within a year, they’ll likely clearance out and disappear from Sephora’s site forever.
Or maybe they’ll thrive. We’ll see!

I’m waffling on a purchase of the NARS Free Lover Cheek Palette for Holiday 2019 that’s launching during the Sephora Holiday 2019 Rouge Preview September 14th. Do I need it? Do I not need it? It’s just all that bright coral and orange draws me in and I feel like I need it.
Also, Loves Me Blush is in this palette! Ummm! Hells yes I need a backup! NARS launched Loves Me last year with the NARS x Erdem Summer 2018 Collection and I fell in love with it. It’s such a gorgeous strawberry red with a faint hint of fine gold shimmer. I’m wearing it below!

Some very small, logical part of me is saying, “You don’t another blush palette” but the devil on my shoulder is saying, “Yes you freaking do!”
Shades:
The palette is $59 and each blush is 0.14 oz in size. NARS Blushes are typically $30 (at the risk of sounding like my father, I remember when NARS Blushes were $25) and 0.16 oz each so you’re getting a nice bit of blush here for the price!
I think I’m going to snag this one. I will say one thing though! It looks a little dry in promo images and I sure hope I’m wrong about this.
