Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Eyeshadow Palette19

The Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Eyeshadow Palette ($60) launches on May 1st to coincide with Disney’s sequel to Alice in Wonderland, Alice Through the Looking Glass that will be in theaters May 27th. Urban Decay has teamed up with Disney on three separate occasions to create palettes inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Oz the Great and Powerful. So, Urban Decay is absolutely no stranger to creating whimsical packaging and bright, vibrant colors to do Wonderland justice.

It’s a funny thing about the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Eyeshadow, as this takes us back to some of Urban Decay’s first larger Book of Shadows Palettes. Many of the new Vice Palettes and even the Glinda and Theodora Palettes all have newer more modern packaging that’s either plastic or metal. With this palette, we take a step back into Urban Decay’s past as it is cardboard and is fairly larger and bulky. You’re either going to adore this little nod to the past, or you’re going to hate it as a minimalist.

As an avid collector of makeup and an Urban Decay fan, I love it. It’s just what UD is known for! It also happens to make me smile. As someone who is running out of ways to store my massive makeup stash, well, that’s when I think to myself, “God, this is huge! Where am I going to put this?! And ugh, I can’t travel with it!” So, the packaging is a double edged sword.

Wet n Wild Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palettes Available Now At Walmart

wet n wild au natural palette

One can hope the new Wet n Wild Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palettes ($5.62) aren’t as bad as the ombre blushes that Wet n Wild launched earlier this Spring. I’ve had so many people e-mail to say, “Just don’t! Don’t do it!” So yeah, I avoided the blushes like the plague!

But these new Au Natural Eyeshadow Palettes might just tempt me.

There are two palettes available one of which contains all rose hued nudes and it’s called Nude Awaiting. The second palette contains is a warm, nude palette with browns, golds, and creams called Bare Necessities.

I’m actually really loving the rose hued palette as the shades look quite deep with some very nice cranberries!

What do you think of these?

I’m going to give the a try I think!

The Wet n Wild Au Natural Eyeshadow Palettes are available exclusively at Walmart and Walmart.com.

Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer for Summer 2016

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer

Everyone is crazed over the new Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer ($44) that’s available in three shades of Luminous Light, Dim Mood, and Dim Light. This new light correcting primer blurs the appearance of imperfections with smoothing skin and giving it a soft, subtle glow from within.

The primer uses light correcting pigments that act as a little filter to neutralize, brighten, and soften light giving skin the appearance of flawlessness. It can be worn alone for a lit-from-within glow or under makeup to add a subtle radiance to skin.

This seems like a no brainier for fans of Ambient Lighting Powder! I don’t typically like a glow-y foundations, primers, etc…I have a rounder face and feel like anything glow-y tends to accentuate that fullness (kinda like putting a spotlight on my imperfections!) but I’m quite curious about this formula and have my eye on one or two shades.

What do you think?

Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer are available now at Sephora.com.
