Wet n Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer Review & Swatches

Wet n Wild Come Correct Concealer

Wet n Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer is a new range of full coverage concealer that launched for Spring 2015 with the Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection. Can I tell you how excited I was when I came across Come Correct Celebrity Concealer? First off it was marked as $3.99 and it had a little dollar off coupon attached to the display so I scored it for $2.99….

I did have that moment walking out of the store where I was like, “Oh this is going to be so rubbish!” but after getting it home I’m actually delighted with it. Mind you, it’s a formula NOT everyone is going to love but if you use It Cosmetics Bye Bye Concealer you might just adore this!

Take a look!

Wet n Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer

Ok so Wet n Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer totally has the weirdest name evers. Come Correct? Yeah, ok, I’m going there and saying it sounds like a pr0n film name! I’ve no idea why it’s called Come Correct and lord knows the name is almost as bad as KATE Cover Concealer. It sounds like something that launched in Japan or Korea to be honest as sometimes names of products get lost in translation, lord knows I’ve run across skincare from Korea with “horny” in the name.

So yeah, I had to get the name off my chest because it truly baffled me.

This comes housed in a 0.34 oz size so it rivals Bye Bye Undereye in size and price! If you’re looking for a sorta kinda dupe that’s cheaper than It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye I’d have to say that Come Correct Celebrity Concealer is a good way to go.

This isn’t a formula everyone will love. It’s very thick, it’s very creamy, very pigmented, and very, very emollient. The full coverage pigmentation rivals that of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye as well as Amazing Cosmetics Concealer. This is concentrated so a little goes a very long way. As promised it delivers full coverage for sure! I think the formula is a little more thicker when compared to It Cosmetics. It has a grease paint-like texture and it does drag a little under drier eyes if you don’t thin it out prior to application. I squeeze a small amount on the back of my hand and I swipe my concealer brush in a few time working it around the back of my hand. This technique thins the formula out and makes for easy application under my eyes.

This wears stupid long. It’ll get you through a 12 hour period easily! I find the texture doesn’t migrate or end up creasing into finer lines once applied. It seems to have a good stick to it so it doesn’t smear around which means it’ll likely do great on oily eyes. I’ve been setting it with my NYX Correcting Powder in Banana and it looks incredible. I love how it brightens my eyes up and conceals puffiness in a major way. If you have severe dark circles this will brighten up eyes and conceal them in a major way.

I don’t use concealer on my face but this should do very well, even better than under eyes, on facial skin. If you use a good brush to thin and buff it on you should be very happy with not only the full coverage but also the extra long wear!

Unfortunately, it’s only available in three shade selections and even the darkest shade (Medium Beige) is pretty light! But all in all Wet n Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer proves a very nice budget pick. I would say it’s a complete dupe for It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer but this comes very close in texture, formula, and coverage to it! This isn’t going to be a concealer everyone loves as it is thick and very emollient but if you’re used to the texture of Bye Bye and like it, well, I’m going to say Come Correct should be a win for you!

Wet n Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer (I swear I laugh every time I type “Come Correct”) is available now at Walgreens.

how does the coverage of this compare to the hard candy glamoflauge concealer?

  • Maria

Thanks Muse. This is on my makeup shopping list especially for the price and it is long lasting.

  • Karena

Hi Muse – I think it’s called Come Correct, because Fergie thinks she’s so “hood.” LOL Sigh…

  • Jeremy

Come correct is slang for approaching someone or a situation in the appropriate way. Instead of flying off the handle or being rude.

  • Yen

I just HAVE to try this out! I couldn’t find a correct color for bye bye under eye so I hope one of the 3 come correct will match me haha. I found the bye bye to be too light or too dark for me. Still haven’t found anything to replace my hourglass hidden concealer.

  • Amy

I like the IT Cosmetics Bye bye Under eyes quite a lot, so I will most certainly try this. Thanks for letting me know bout a great new, cheap product!

  • Amy

Oh, in other news, this title makes me think of the Lupe Fiasco verse in Kanye West’s “Testify” where he says, “promise to come correct as a porn star.”. So this title makes me laugh as well.

i’m learning new slang daily, I have never heard anyone say come correct, does this make me old?

  • Tanya

Not old, just different. Although the first thing I heard in my head is the same lyric Amy is referring to. Muse, your blog is the first place I heard the expression “chuffed as chips”. And I’m sure some other slang I’ve never heard before too. 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

hahaha Briticisms blame it on my British best friend and my xboyfriend those will sneak in there although it should be cheap as chips hehe! 😀 heart you for making me laugh! I need to learn to use come correct in a sentence now without thinking of pr0n when doing it lol!

Hmmm, this sounds like it may be similar to Tarte’s Creaseless Concealer. Tarte is my go to concealer. It’s not perfect but it works the best for me. I cannot for the life of me get the It Cosmetics concealer to work for me. I try it once a month or so to convince myself it will work lol. This Wet n Wild one may be a cheap dupe for Tarte. Imma check it out. Not sure if the lightest color will work for me though.

    • Isabella Muse

try mixing facial oil into the concealer, it thins it out Angel. 🙂

So I read this post last night after I got home from work and caught up on the past few days of post.. Lucky me was off today so I woke up and immediately called the only local walgreens 20 mins into the city and low and behold they had it. Unfortunately it was 4.99 there and no $1 off coupon but hey $5 bucks isn’t bad at all. I’ve only used it for two days but I love it so far. And as a cult user and raver of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereyes, I have to say this is definitely right up there with it or even rivals it due to the outrageous cheapness. I agree that its basically a dupe. The texture, coverage and wear time are amazeballs. I might have to go back and hoard the rest 🙂 THANK YOU for bringing this into my life. I feel like I won the concealer lottery. Haha. But seriously, so far this has performed as well as and just like the bye bye so why spend 24 when you can spend 3-5?! PLEASE tell me this is a permanent addition to the WnW line. Otherwise I really will go hoard the rest. 🙂

    • Lacy

I meant used it twice not two days hahaha. Once this morning to play with it and again a few moments ago before getting ready to go out. I need a nap…

    • Isabella Muse

I SURE hope it is perm because I liked it too. I’m so so glad you loved it Lacy 🙂 happy to hear it!

  • Natalie Brown

Haha! You’re funny. “Come Correct” is slang for when you arrive, you’d better be right or not obnoxious or wrong. “If you’re going to stop by, you better come correct.” Weird, I know. I guess since it’s part of the Fergie collection they’re using “hip” slang. lol

  • Beauty Maven

I just found this at my local Walgreens— I swear by IT Cosmetics and let me tell you, I think I like this one even BETTER!! So excited to have a cheaper option. You can’t beat $4 over the $24 for IT cosmetics. I wouldn’t have even thought to try this if you hadn’t posted about it. Thanks, Muse!!

    • Isabella Muse

so happy you discovered it Beauty Maven! It’s fab right? Glad you like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dana

I bought a tube of this concealer a few weeks ago at Walgreens & love it! I went back to get another tube to keep in my purse and couldn’t find it. I then tried to search online but can’t find it anywhere. Has it been discontinued already??? 🙁

  • Angela K.

I found this yesterday at Walgreens in the permanent section at the top of the display. So I’m hoping it’s here to stay! It also reminds me of tartes crease less concealer too, just more pigmented. I’ve never tried the It cosmetics so now I guess I can skip it and stick with this. Come Correct is a wonderful little cheap trill! Hope you’re still enjoying it as well! Thanks for great review!

    • Isabella Muse

my pleasure angela glad to hear it was in the perm section!!!!!!! ;-D yay!

  • Jennifer

I really wanna try this out. I never have very good luck with these things. The best one i have used by far is Fake up, but that’s a $23 item. Its awesome, I have not found anything like it, but its way too much money to spend every month.

  • Kelly

I know this is an old review but do you know where I can find this product now? I fell in love with it and now can’t find it anywhere.

  • Cara

Does anyone know if they are re packaging and bringing this back?

    • Jessica

I picked this up at Walgreens a few months ago sans-serif the Fergie label. It is also listed on walmart.com but it says out of stock. Might be worth a shot to check your local store. It is sold by drugstore.com as well.

  • Courtney Bandish

Is it bad if I just picked this up at my local Dollar General WITH the Fergie label? I’m guessing that means it’s pretty dated if she is no longer the spokesperson. If that is the case, how old can a product be before it loses its integrity or should no longer be used? On a positive note, it was only a dollar but that may be why lol
