It Cosmetics Sold at Sephora

It Cosmetics New Year, Your Most New Year, Your Most Beautiful Skin Set 2016

It Cosmetics is coming to Sephora and Sephora.com shortly! Yup, that’s right It Cosmetics will now be sold at Sephora! This is both exciting and scary to me.

I’m a big fan of It Cosmetics as you already know! I think into Sephora can opening a lot of doors for the brand as they’ll likely be bringing out some exclusive brush sets, possibly makeup sets, and more. Thus far Confidence in a Cream and 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm are the only two It Cosmetics skin care offerings the brand offers but with the move to Sephora, from my understanding, they’ll be concentrating a little more on their skin care.

This move to Sephora does not mean they won’t still be offered at Ulta as well. The brand moved into Ulta in 2014 or so with an entire range of It Cosmetics for Ulta Makeup Brushes. I think with the move to Sephora you might see a more interesting round of products but the prices might potentially be higher as well considering this has been the case with many inexpensive brands that have started to selling at Sephora such as Soap & Glory. I’m hoping that won’t be the case for It!

So yeah, this one is a double-edged sword. I’m excited to see It Cosmetics at Sephora but worried the prices might be raised a bit. Either way though, It is a brand worth indulging it so if I have to pay a bit more to get, I’m doubtful I’ll be bothered too much

What do you think of It Cosmetics being sold at Sephora?

Excited?

Worried?

Do share!

This is definitely a blessing and a curse. For me, Ulta is a bit of a further trek, and I’ve often wished I could just swing up to Sephora for my IT fix. It’s so nice that it’ll be closer now, but it’s also going to be bad for my wallet.

Muse, does your information talk about whether there will be a dedicated IT sales associate at Sephora, like there is at Ulta? That’s my biggest complaint about Ulta – if you can’t get there during the time their brand-dedicated associates work, you can’t get your questions answered. I like that Sephora has SA’s who might know a little more about one brand or another, but they still know about pretty much everything in the store.

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t know about a dedicated SA, Gillie! I’ll ask and see what I can find out for you 🙂

      • Gillie

That’s so sweet, Muse. Thank you! No need to go out of your way, though. I can ask the next time I’m in. I appreciate you offering to follow up, though! 🙂

No problem!!!!!!!!! I already asked PR, so if they reply I’ll update ya 😀

It is only available at sephora.com for US residents at this point…anyone know if it will be available for Canadians?

  • Dee

Excited but worried for the same reasons you posted. Bet they will have new brushes!

  • Laci

I like it because I’ll be able to buy what I need without having to load the cart to $50 to get free shipping. But yeah, hopefully the prices will stay the same.

Didn’t Sephora carry It Cosmetics before Ulta? For some reason I am thinking they use to carry…..

    • Isabella Muse

Nope, this is the first time they’ll ever be available at Sephora.

      • Melanie

must be thinking of another line…. excited to see if sephora exclusive might be in the line up. I love this brand.

    • Claire

Yes they did and then phased them out. Maybe about two years ago. I remember asking the Sephora rep if they carried IT and she replied, “what brand?” And I said ,”IT.” And she said “it what?” Then I told her I was looking for IT Cosmetics and she snarkily replied, “oh, that’s gone. We only carry GOOD brands.” Then I went to Ulta. 🙂

      • Isabella Muse

I think maybe the SA rep was misinformed, It Cosmetics has never been sold at Sephora. I’ve been shopping at Sephora well over 10 years and never has It Cosmetics been available on their site or in their stores.

In the words of Jessie Spanos: “I’m so excited! I’M SO EXCITED!”

  • blee

OMG! I have asked them for a long time. And it’s happening ! Very Happy that IT will be at Sephora too . 🙂

  • Katherine T.

Oh this is awesome! I love all my IT products, remember when they first started at QVC, then Ulta, and now Sephora! Maybe they will make some special brush sets just for Sephora, like they do Ulta

  • Yen.Lin

Muse, do you know if It Cosmetics will be available in Canada? Sephora CA has considerably…less brands/products than over in the States.

  • Laura

I am happy to know that Sephora will now be carrying this brand. I do hope that there will be a line of brushes created specifically for Sephora.

  • Pam

Thank you for spreading the good news, Muse!!
Sephora.com ships to Germany for a very reasonable price, so I am very happy that it’d be easier for me to get my hands on the Itcosmetics products ^^
Hopefully they won’t mark up the price :/

I am glad to hear that this line will be sold at Sephora because I am not fond of Ulta.

  • Nicole

I guess I am a little blah on the move of IT Cosmetics being sold at Sephora. If the put some awesome brush sets together for a great price or get an exclusive product I must try I am happy to by something there (same thing I say about ULTA, no offense to Sephora). What it comes down to for me is if I can get 2 eyeliners I want for $29 and buy one at Sephora (or ULTA) for $24, I am going with the 2 for $29. Same thing with lip items, should I pay $XX.XX for one item or for $3-$5 more get a trio of lip products. I’m going with the trio because even if I don’t plan on using all of them they make great little gifts for people or just to pass onto someone to brighten their day! 😀
So currently I am blah about IT being sold at Sephora, but who knows I may change my mind based on if the have exclusive brush sets or items . 🙂

Jamie has sold her loyal customers out!

With l’Oreal buying IT cometics, the only ones who come out on top are Jamie, l’Oreal and various coporate lawyers. The thousands of people who purchased her products and made her company the huge success it is will be stuck with a product that will be a mere shadow of the original. L’Oreal’s main concern is its bottom line; the profit line. What will happen to IT cosmetics is what happened to the wonderful hair products from Ojon after it was acquired by Estee Lauder. Estee Lauder tinkered with all the forumlas to produce a cheaper product and now Ojon is nothing more than an over priced drugstore brand.

Greed wins out again. Shame on you Jamie!!

Loved their facial concealer! Can’t seem to find it at any other site. Any suggestions?
