Maybelline Spring 2017 is starting to launch at drugstores and it includes a new 24K Nudes Palette as well as the new and awesome Maybelline Baby Lips Color Balm Crayon!

Take a look below at the latest Maybelline Spring 2017 offerings.

Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation has arrived in the US! This new cushion is available in a wide array of shades and gives me hope that cushion blushes at the drugstores aren’t too far behind now!

There’s a new collection of Maybelline Color Sensational Inti-Matte Nudes Lipstick available in 10 shades. These appear to be a retake on Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick that launched several months ago.

Possibly one of my favorites from the Spring 2017 launch is the new Maybelline Baby Lips Color Balm Crayon. This is probably one of the best editions of Baby Lips to date as these pop a powerful, pigmented finish!

Maybelline the 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette is yet another 12 pan eyeshadow palette that dare I say looks very, very dry! Let’s hope it isn’t as bad as the prior releases like the Smokes Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve been avoiding these launches lately but I have to admit I did indulge in the 24K Nudes as it had some nice shades. I know I’m going to be crushingly disappointed but I felt compelled to get it. Why do I do these things to myself?!

Maybelline the Colossal Big Shot Mascara is a new one coat volumizing mascara available in waterproof and non-waterproof formulas.

I don’t pay too much attention to brow items but is the Maybelline Brow Precise new? Sorry if it isn’t. This is a fiber brow filler that fills and shapes brows.

A bit of a rant so you have been warned…

I am so completely done with Maybelline palettes/eye shadows, I don’t care what they claim about re-formulations. Besides, the shadows should have been done right the first time and not need to be re-formulated as yet another ploy to get us makeup junkies to buy again and be disappointed again. The only thing that Maybelline does well are lip products.

Amen! I picked up 24K because I’m a sucker! But just looking at it you can see it is rubbish!

I agree, Christina D. The Cover Girl shadow palettes turned out great (I am excited to see the Jeweled palette!) and there are some of those very inexpensive brands that churn out real pigment and lasting power – and Maybelline has the L’Oreal wind at their back! Not that L’Oreal brands are necessarily so amazing, but that’s a lot of R&D money and ability to buy ingredients in bulk.

I was surprised and delighted by the Covergirl palettes! Typically there palettes aren’t great but those were buttery and soft 😀

Looking for the new Baby lips crayons. Cannot find them. I hope they have them on ulta website soon.

I’m hoping the Maybelline cushion foundation comes in a better shade range than the L’Oreal one! I like cushion foundations but they often don’t seem to come in shades that are light enough for my skin.

I’m very interested in the lipsticks and liners and the stick concealer. Usually “warm toned” makeup is all wrong for me, but since I oxidize every darn lipstick toward hot pink, starting out warm sometimes makes it look a lot better on me.

I hope those nude matte lipsticks have the same formula as their regular creamy mattes, as that’s one of my all time favorite lipstick formulas. Better than many of my high-end lipsticks even! Don’t mess with perfection Maybelline! I’m still annoyed with them over the Loaded Bolds, tbh. They have a lousy formula, and yet Maybelline put so many interesting colors in that line instead of adding them on the matte line. I would have loved it if they had released a black or blue with the creamy matte formula, instead of the slippery patchy mess we actually got. Ugh. Pardon my rant. :p

Also, are the Vivids being discontinued? None of the stores in my area carry them any more, but they are still listed on Maybelline’s website. I’m not too surprised if they are, since they were released quite a few years ago, but it’s still a shame. They have a nice formula, and some gorgeous shades. I guess I better get some backups of my favorites.

    • Isabella Muse

I’m sure about the Vivids to be honest, it’s a possibility? They might be doing something more intense for Summer! Btw, for me, they aren’t the same as the creamy mattes! So far, I feel like they are very chalky and adhere to my natural lip lines which gives me a dry look! I prefer the originals 🙁

      • Angela

Up here in Canada we still never got the “new” creamy mattes that were added to the lineup (still have the original 9 or 10). So sad! That formula is lovely.

Run, don’t walk, from that Maybelline brow precise volumizing thing with the weird brush!!! Avoid at all costs! the weird brush made it so hard to apply the product, and when I finished I looked like I had dark, sticky brown goo on my brows. It was awful. Avoid! I was apprehensive abvout the weird brush when I bought it, but I tried it anyway. Mistake!

I have two of the baby lips in burgundy and red I like them prior to wearing lipstick or alone to moisterize but cannot bring myself to purchase any other items from either Maybelline except the eye concealer is great or Revlon. Just not doing it for me and I’m a drugstore junkie. I have two lipsticks from Maybelline that were gifts that’s about it. Revlon, I got their strip highlighters both in pink and bronze don’t find great at all but will keep for the lightest touch almost invisible and I’m pale much better are Physicians Formula. I stare and study their products and just fail to convince me to purchase any. Cover Girl I been eyeing their eyeshadow and will finally get the rose, the gold and the Spring colors decent reviews on them.
