5 stars out of 5

Natasha Denona Duo Glow ($38) in Alba has been on my wish list a while as I do love golden coral shades! Since Summer is going to get here eventually I decided to purchase this during the Sephora Sales Event at 20% off.

I could be delirious here but $38 wasn’t too bad a price to pay at retail as Natasha’s line is marked up pretty heavily and I was like hmm this is twice the size as NARS Orgasm for $8 more. NARS Orgasm is 0.16 oz and $30 where as Natasha Denona Duo Glow is 0.35 oz and $38. So, it’s a pretty large amount for the price!

Anyway, I became obsessed with trying more of Natasha’s blushes and highlighters after my great success with her new Bloom Blush & Glow Palette and Alba fit the bill perfectly to use in conjunction with that palette and of course all its own as well!

Natasha Denona Alba Duo Glow is described as a golden highlight with coral undertones. Yes, it is a highlighter but I went ahead and used it as a blush since it is actually pigmented enough to work as such. It has a very smooth feel with absolutely no powdery kick up and a fine, silky formula that blends easily.

It’s pigmented enough to work easily on my light medium skin tone as a blush but darker skin tones mind find it works better as a highlighter. I really loved the luminous golden coral glow it gave my cheeks although, it wasn’t as intense as the golden coral shade in the Bloom Blush & Glow Palette. The shade applied a little sheerer in comparison with less of the glow you get from that shade. I’d liken it to NARS Orgasm as the finishes and shades are quite similar!

The color and the luminosity has a good lasting wear without fading for a solid ten hours. It also blends very easily with a nice smooth finish that didn’t adhere to drier areas on my cheeks or face.

All in all, a truly gorgeous shade! I’m happy I purchased this and highly recommend checking it out if you love peach or coral shades!
