So, you want an inexpensive Parfums de Marly Oriana recommendation? I got you. Parfums de Marly Oriana Eau de Parfum is a gorgeous orange blossom gourmand that resembles one of my favorite scents, Kilian Love, Don’t Be Shy. This is sweet, and marshmallow-y, with just the right touches of orange blossom. I orinally purchased a bottle blindly when it was described as being similiar to Love, Don’t Be Shy and I’m obsessed with that scent and I was all about trying a new spin on it. Parfum de Marly’s delightful jammy Delina took a while to grow on me but after it did I simply couldn’t get enough. Combine that with the fact everyone in the fragrance world was comparing Oriana to Love, Don’t Be Shy and I raced to grab a bottle.

Sadly, a bottle is $355. But I snagged it during a 15% Off sale at Neiman Marcus I believe but hey, that 15% wasn’t that big a discount. It’s still a hefty price to pay for a bottle of perfume. Especially one I never smelled before and I was blindly purchasing based on hype I was hearing across fragrance forums. I didn’t regret the purchase. It did indeed smell a lot like Kilian but dare I say, I still loved Kilian’s version more. But I didn’t regret the purchase. It’s still a very feminine, princess-y gourmand that’s sweet and playful. I loved it. Do I wish it was cheaper? Hells, yes! Do I wish I knew about a similiar scent like this sooner? Double hells, yes!

I might have not saved a ton of money on my purchase but I’m here to save you some with this $34 fragrance.

The hottest Arabian brand in the fragrance world at the moment is Lattafa because Lattafa is putting out some bangers that will do your head in with how inexpensive they are. They have a perfume that smells like Eilish that blows the original fragrance out of the water. But similiaries aside, their fragrances are outstanding. I’ve personally always been an Arabian Oud and Swiss Arabian fan girl.

I picked up Lattafa Ansaam Gold Eau De Parfum Spray for $35 on Amazon recently after seeing a Tiktok about it. I believe the person that mentioned it was Anechkafragrances. I instantly purchased it when hearing it was potentally similiar to Oriana even though the notes are NOTHING alike.

Oriana notes:
Top Notes: mandarin, bergamot, grapefruit.
Middle Notes: orange blossom, blackcurrant, raspberry.
Base Notes: marshmallow, ambrette, chantilly cream, musk.

Ansaam Gold notes:
Top Notes: Pear, Mandarin
Middle Notes: Rose, Jasmine, Candy
Base Notes: Raspberry, Musk, Vanilla

As you can see they share mandarin and raspberry as a note but NOTHING else is similar. Ansaam Gold has no marshmallow, no orange blossom, none of the things that make Oriana a sweet, fluffy gourmand. But somehow, someway, they managed to duplicate the fragrance. It’s not exactly the same but honestly, both fragrances are gorgeous gourmands and they do smell very similar. The biggest thing I took away from smelling each was that Oriana was a bit sweeter and orange-y on the initial mist whereas Ansaam Gold is a little less sweet but also, richer, and a bit more grown-up. It’s still sweet just not as sweet with that orange-y and blackcurrant note that Oriana has. Nonetheless, they both smell very similar and could be sisters.

Ansaam Gold def has a light fluffy element. When I misted it initially I was a bit concerned as I got a bit of a headache but as it settles onto skin it gets soft and cozy. The musk and vanilla create warmth while the raspberry and pear create a gentle sweetness as the background. It’s a very playful fragrance and very girlish while managing to be sexy as well.

Did I mention how gorgeously this comes packaged? The 3.7 oz bottle has a nice weight behind it and arrived is a gorgeous burgundy box with a stunning floral print background when you open the box.

If you adore scents like Oriana, Love, Don’t Be Shy, and Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme you will absolutely adore Lattafa Ansaam Gold.

I can’t Muse Approved this enough! I’d highly recommend a purchase! You can snag it at Amazon!

Another really nice Middle Eastern perfume brand that I’ve enjoyed is Al-Rehab. I found them completely randomly on Amazon, and apparently they have lots of amazing dupes for high-end scents.

The Lattafa bottle is much prettier too! I didn’t like the fruitiness in Oriana, so this dupe sounds great. I prefer Oriana over Love, but only because it’s softer and lighter. I think the D&G is the softest of the three. Thank you for sharing!

It really is a pretty bottle. You might just like this if you don’t like the fruity orange note that Oriana has going on! This is has a bit more depth to it and feels a bit more sophisticated yet still retains a level of playfulness as well. My pleasure! If you smell or try it let me know! I’d really like to hear what you think!

I absolutely can not believe the timing of this. I have been obsessively searching for a new perfume for months. I’ve purchased dozens of samples. Researched and kept a log with notes. Finally narrowed down my “must haves” today and Oriana was in there- but the price. Boo! Googled dupes for Oriana and BAM- your timely article !!!! Just ordered if from Amazon!! Thanks again Muse!!!
