Too Faced Born This Way Healthy Glow SPF 30 Moisturizing Skin Tint Is Expensive But I’ll Buy It
We’re finally entering the natural makeup era and I’m here for it! Skin Tints are popping up everywhere and I’m all about trying the new Too Faced Born This Way Healthy Glow SPF 30 Moisturizing Skin Tint which is launching for Summer 2023. It seems like someone finally got the message that we aren’t all about heavy, pigmented foundations and some of us desire more lighter, natural coverage. I’ve always loved a good my skin but better look and that seems to be where Too Faced is headed with their new Born This Way Healthy Glow Moisturizing Skin Tint.
Now, this stuff is kind of pricey at $42 but if it’s as lovely as the original Born This Way Foundation it might just be worth my buck. Think about it for a sec. The original, more pigmented version of the product, Born This Way Foundation, is $45 and this is a lot sheerer at $42. It may just ease your mind a little to know that you are getting considerably more product though as Born This Way Healthy Glow SPF 30 Moisturizing Skin Tint is 2 oz in size versus the foundation which is 1 oz.
This little tint is available in 18 different shades with a natural finish that apparently has medium coverage (I have doubts but we’ll see)! It claims to wear for 24 hours and has a hydrating formula that contains coconut oil and Hyaluronic Acid plus it’s oil-free! Considering the original foundation is available in a larger number of shades they do have a conversion chart to help you select a shade in the new tint however, it’s limited to twelve of the original shades. I guess it’s just a basic idea of which might suit you.
This seems like an ideal product for people that already have good skin but might suffer from dullness that needs brightening or perhaps you want a more even tone. I’m not sure about the medium coverage promise but you never know it could turn out super pigmented and surprise everyone. Personally, I really like serum tints like this. They tend to work out great on my drier skin plus I have a fairly good complexion without pores or blemishes. However, I do suffer from dullness and use foundation to brighten up my complexion.
