Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter Superstar Glow for Holiday 2020 Is Insta-Love

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter Superstar Glow ($55) is the newest highlighter for Holiday 2020 from Char and it’s Insta-Love for me! I hate myself so much because I buy Charlotte’s Holiday Highlighter every single year and every single year it ends up in my beauty vault never to be used and only taken out on special occasions when I whisper to it how much I love it before tucking it safely back into the vault! That’s what I did with last year’s version and the year before that and…! You get the picture. I don’t really use highlighter all that much but when I do I’m all discoball because I have such a heavy hand with it! I really, really want to make some sort of New Year Resolution where I use all my pretty highlighters instead of stashing them away and p.s. also learn how to apply them well!

This year, we have a soft, lighter beige shade that has pearlescent pigments that capture the light and give you complexion a beautiful glow! Typically her powders are very finely milled and easy to work with. Apparently, this is formulated with film-forming polymers that give a smoother appearance because lord knows, highlighter can cling to ever single imperfection on your face!

This is an oversized compact that contains 0.40 oz of highlighter so you can easily use it on your face or your body should you like! Getting a big, bushy brush and applying it on the balls of your shoulder and down your next and across your decollete gives a nice pretty glow to your skin!

Hell, if it was up to me I’d apply highlighter all over my body and prance around the house like that! I have no shame when it comes to glow and sparkly bits! I have grown up a little bit though and mattes do come into play a lot more lately in my life but bring the glow, bring the sparkle, bring the shimmer! I want it all!

Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter Superstar Glow for Holiday 2020 is available now!

Is it on your Christmas wish list?

Bite Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss is Here But What I Really Want Is New Lipstick

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Bite Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss arrived earlier this month and I’m definitely interested because Bite Beauty can do no wrong in my opinion! But I have to admit I’m sort of lemming new lipsticks. It’s been nearly a year since Bite Beauty discontinued their entire line of lipsticks and recently they did come out with a rather cute Millennial Pinks 4-Piece Mini Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon Set that gets a big yay! But still, I really want new lipstick. I felt for sure that the launch of the Bite Beauty Creamy Color Mini Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick Set for Holiday 2019 was a hint at a new Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick formula. That formula was so hydrating, so creamy, so delicious! I thought they were using that Holiday set as a launching pad for a new lipstick formula. Sadly, that didn’t happen! Instead Bite Beauty decided to launch an entire foundation range! Hmmmm…!

I Really Want to Try Summer Fridays Soft Reset AHA Exfoliating Solution But….

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I am really, really, really curious about the new Summer Fridays Soft Reset AHA Exfoliating Solution! Anyone read up on this one? I’m impatient. I like immediate results. I love to visibly see that a skincare product is working like ASAP. That’s not always possible though! There’s a certain adjustment period at times and of course, one has to wait to see results especially when it comes to brightening your complexion!

Not the case with this new Summer Fridays Soft Reset AHA Exfoliating Solution! it’s such a potent blend that apparently results can be seen overnight! It’s a 3-in-1 solution that contains 16% AHA along with niacinamide to exfoliate and reduce the appearance of pores. I’m not someone that has visible pores but I’d love to see how this does with exfoliation and brightening.

Summer Fridays’ does put their money where their mouth is here because this contains a range of goodies that your skin will love like Lactic Acid, Aloe, Popendiol, Niacinamide, Glycerin, and even hyaluronic acid!

The lost me at the fruit extracts though. This contains both orange and lemon fruit extracts which aren’t always a great pick for skin. Both are lower on the ingredients list but I was a little disappointed to see them here night the less.

Now the questions remains should I try this or not?

I have admit it sounds like a powerhouse! Lactic and Glycolic Acid plus Niacinamide? We’re bound to come out of this experience super bright and smooth! I think I may bite the bullet on this and give it a try! Sometimes you just gotta ignore the bad stuff and just do it! Anyone interested in this formula?

Summer Fridays Soft Reset AHA Exfoliating Solution is $54 and available now.

Laura Mercier Holiday 2020 Featuring Standing Ovation Cheek Palette

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Some of the Laura Mercier Holiday 2020 Collection released at Sephora this past weekend and I have to admit I’m pretty excited about the Standing Ovation Cheek Palette and of course, the Mini Stargazer Caviar Stick Quartet. How many people here obsessively collect the mini Caviar Sticks? I love them! So creamy, so easy to blend, and they work a treat either by themselves it with a powder eyeshadow on top! Yum!

I’m happy to see Laura doing a blush palette this year! The Laura Mercier Standing Ovation Cheek Palette ($55) is a three pan blush palette inspired by the ballets of Paris. The shades look quite wearable.

These are all early releases! We’ll see more as the Holiday season approaches! I’m sure they’ll be a Holiday Eyeshadow Palette and other gift sets!

Let’s dive into Laura Mercier Holiday 2020 a little further below!
