I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

I purchased the Colourpop Orange You Sweet Set when it launched and it included the Colourpop Juice World Juice World Brush Set that includes five essential brushes. I really don’t need more brushes but hey, it came with the set! If you do need some new brushes those this actually retails for $20 as an individual purchase which is a great deal as it works out to about $5 per brush and it contains some nice essentials for eyes and face.

Oily? The new E.L.F. Blurring Primer Serum ($10) might be what you need! The new Blurring Primer Serum is a skincare primer hybrid that acts to minimize oil whole creating a soft focus, powder-like finish that blurs pores and imperfections.

Don’t worry dry skin users can take advantage of the E.L.F. Hydrating Primer Serum! This serum is hydrating, lightweight, fragrance-free, and helps plump and prime your skin for makeup application. It contains Hyaluronic Acid to help skin retain moisture!

These are $10 each and available now!

P.S. Happy Monday! I was traveling this weekend so, I needed something to watch on the plane and I finally started Ugly Duckling. I actually already have all four seasons on my Plex server but I was shocked AF to see it on Netflix. Lakorns on Netflix? Oh my! I was equally shocked to learn that Push is 33 year old! SHUT UP! I need to move to Thailand and drink up some of the fountain of youth over there. Jesus! I remember watching him in the Forward The Series but still dude, how can this guy be 33?

Anyway, if you need some cute Summer lakorn love watch the Ugly Ducking series. Be warned, it’s sort of silly and a bit shallow at times but cute!

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Concealer and Foundation Arrives

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Concealer and Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Foundation launched today at Ulta.com and I’m first in line to purchase. My philosophy on makeup is if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. I am already a big fan of Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer! It’s cheap, it’s creamy, it’s pigmented, and it doesn’t creep into my finer lines. Do I need a more hydrating version? I mean, it’s already pretty cool just the way it is.

But considering the stellar reputation it has I think I could get on board with a new version so long as Makeup Revolution doesn’t screw up an already good thing. The new Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Concealer is a little more expensive at $12 compared to $7 for Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer. But it’s also a lot bigger at 0.45 oz compared to 0.11 oz.

As for for the formula…! It’s a hydrating blend that contains hyaluronic acid that they promise will “drench skin with moisture”. Ok, sounds good! My eyes are dry as hell they can use all the moisture the can get.

As for Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation it also gets a revamp with the new Conceal & Hydrate Foundation that also contains hyaluronic acid for smooth, even coverage that doesn’t cling to drier areas!

Needless to say I’ll be ordering both and sharing my thoughts soon! I enjoy both formulas at the moment in their original formulations so, I am curious if they could improve on something that’s already a great texture and formula.

Both Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Concealer and Foundation are available today!

Natasha Denona Coral Palette But Is It Really Coral?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Hi I’m a total coral h0r. I love coral blushes, I love lipsticks and lipglosses, I love coral eyeshadow. Give me all the coral things! And finally someone other than Butter London is acknowledging that coral is the Pantone Color of the Year for 2019. Which makes me a happy girl, sort of.

Meet the Natasha Denona Coral Palette or wait is it coral? It’s coral right? No, not really! Maybe! Sort of. Ok, so hopefully the promo images are dead wrong because am I nutty or does this really not look coral at all? The shades look more cranberry! Even the swatches look cranberry! What do you think? Well, maybe like one shade is sort of coral….!
None the less, I must try it for myself and see.

Shades:

  • Lola: Warm raspberry with a metallic finish
  • Dakota: Rust red with a matte finish
  • Abalone: Iridescent pink with a duochrome finish
  • Lyria: Coral pink with a matte finish
  • Kai: Coral champagne with a metallic finish

I need to try it out for myself.

What are your thoughts on the Natasha Denona Coral Palette?
