Sephora Sonic Clean Brush Cleaner ($40) might need to come home with me. Granted, I could probably find this on Amazon or E-bay a bit cheaper but having one at Sephora sure is handy (Now do I want this or the washing machine makeup brush cleaner?)

I sort of like the design of this makeup brush cleaner a bit more than the ones that completely spin the brush. As this comes with a silicone brush palette which allows you to snap the sonic brush cleaner on any brush that needs to be cleaned and basically provides an electronic way to spin it against the cleaning palette. Or you can just fill a bowl with water, place a small amount of brush cleaner on the head of your brush, snap the unit on, submerge the brush in the bowl of water, and let it spin!

The unit is usb rechargeable and holds a charge of about two hours or 100 brush cleanings before needing a recharge!

Pretty nifty right?

I love how more and more brands are creating mini sizes of their latest skincare and makeup launches. It makes it SO much easier to try something out without spending a ton of cash and also, potentially committing to something you don’t like in a larger size that cost more. Sure, I realize that Sephora, Nordstrom, etc have excellent return policies but I’m an awful returner. I put something in a bag and just forget about it until it’s way too late to return it.

That’s why all these minis are fab not to mention they are perfectly sized for travel.

I’m thinking of picking up the new YSL Mascara & Primer Duo ($39.50) because my once full lashes are now sort of whimpy. I swear I blame my eye lash curler for tripping them right out. Maybe I need to start using a lash enhancer versus worrying about mascara. I never thought I’d see a day where my lashes were sort of short and fine. I’ve decided I’m going to start with some sort of lash primer first.
