CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid contains alcohol and I have to keep asking but WHY, Cerave, Why!? I’ve been pretty disappointed with their offerings lately because almost all their newest skincare contains alcohol.

CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid sounds promising enough with a 10% vitamin c infused formula that also contains Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid but it’s utterly ruined by the addition of alcohol. Not to mention the 1 oz size for $25 bucks may have made cringed. Come on guys! You can do better! The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% is a mere $5.80 and The Inkey List Vitamin C Cream is $10!

You can do better guys 🙁

This is a serum formula with a lightweight texture according to the brand with a pure form of Vitamin C that brightens.

Shrug. Not sure I need it.

MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ has launched in five mini, scented scents like Watermelon and Pineapple! Does anyone remember when MAC launched the Rose Romance Collection and it had a delicious Rose Prep + Prime Fix+? Sigh! I loved it. I’m not much of a Fix+ user but that rose one I cherished! I was sort of hoping Wet n Wild Rebel Rose Photo Focus Rose Toner would be a replacement for it but it didn’t quite fit the bill!

Back in 2015, MAC did launch a few different Fix+ scents like Coconut, Lavender, and Yuzu and the did bring back Rose too! I think they did a few more scents since that time but I don’t remember picking this up for myself.

I am intrigued by the latest launch though as hey, they had me at Watermelon and Pineapple!

New scents:

• Cucumber

These are mini in size and weight in at 1 oz at $16 compared to a full-size Fix+ that’s $27 at 3.4 oz.

The Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 Lipstick Collection arrives today and I feel like I need them all! Swoon! These 11 shades come in five different collection, refillable cases. Each Hot Lips 2 Lipstick is $37 with case and refills are $25.

Charlotte Tilbury has pledged �1 Million from the sales of the Hot Lips 2 Lipstick Collection to the Women for Women International Charity. The Women for Women International is a nonprofit humanitarian organization provides moral support to women survivors of war.

Each shade is inspired by different icons but let’s just hope one isn’t named Brooke haha!

There is one major problem with this collection! All the shades look like they’ll work for me! Ugh! No but seriously, the shades look like they’d be universally flattering across a very wide range of skin types. Which means we’ll be broke wanting all the shades 😉

Revlon Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish ($9.99) is a new, permanent range of pigmented, high shine liquid lip lacquers available in ten shades. Revlon has done a few variations of this formula already some of which were the original Ultra HD Matte Lip Color followed by Ultra HD Matte Metallic Lipcolor and more recently Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse Hyper Matte.

I wasn’t sure what Ultra UD Vinyl Lip Polish would actually bring that was different to the table since Revlon already has an Ultra HD Lip Lacquer however, that’s more of a lipgloss formula where as Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish is more of a hybrid formula that’s part gloss, part lipstick.
