Pixi Rose Flash Balm ($24) is probably one of my favorite skincare picks of the moment. This 3-in-1 formula can be used as primer, moisturizer, or a mask. As you may know I happen to be a big fan of Clarins Flash Balm but sadly it’s $48! Pixi Rose Flash Balm is $24, smells prettier, and is formulated just as lovely.
L’Oreal Crushed Foils Metallic Lipstick ($9.97) is a new metallic lipstick that launched with the L’Oreal Crushed Foil Collection available exclusively at Walmart. I’m not a terribly big fan of metallic anything as I find the finish is too frosty on me but I have to admit to falling in love with a few of the shades in this collection so I am guilty of indulging but overindulging as I only grabbed one shade.
Stratia Liquid Gold is a lightweight moisturizer that hydrates, strengthens, and fortifies your skin’s natural moisture barrier with a combination of ceramides and fatty acids.
This one of those products that gets raving reviews but I tried it and my results were mediocre which in turn left me wondering, “Why does it work for everyone else but not me!?”
It might have been all that impressive at first but overtime it did something pretty incredible for my skin.
Urban Decay Goldmine and Lucky 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils are being re-promoted in the Urban Decay Beached Summer 2018 Collection. I think a lot of people are pretty hyped about the return of Lucky and I can’t say I blame any of you since it is a great shade.
Well, really, aren’t all 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils pretty damn awesome? I think it’s pretty safe to say at this point I own every single shade. They are some of the creamiest, dreamiest eyeliners around.
Much to my absolute delight I am happy to report that Montale Discovery Sets are now available. I cannot even begin to tell you how exciting this is. I am a great lover of Montale fragrances! It’s a fairly well know French fragrance line that has a rather extensive array of scents to choose from. It was created and inspired by Saudi Arabia where the perfumer spent some time creating scents for nobility.
It’s a niche brand but in the niche world I consider it rather main stream since it is rather well known and accessible. Typically fine French fragrances aren’t always readily available in the US but Montale is a fairly common line that can be purchased at Neiman Marcus, Fragracenet, Luckyscent, etc….
Bottles of Montale run about $170 for 3.4 oz. This isn’t terribly expensive for a niche fragrance but isn’t entirely cheap either.
That’s why I am so crazy excited they have Montale Discovery Sets available at neimanmarcus.com for $22! Sadly, I own a majority of these scents already but I did pick up the Aoud (hope I don’t regret this one as I’m not a super big fan of Aoud) and Roses & Florals Set which have a few scents I haven’t tried.
