Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Urban Decay Naked Reloaded is a new neutral 12-pan eyeshadow palette that the brand created to flatter all skin tones, ages, and genders. Sounds quite MAC of them doesn’t it? But more importantly Urban Decay looks like they took a lot of inspiration from Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Sultry Eyeshadow Palette when creating the new Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette don’t you think? Most people are getting that vibe because the shades are quite a like especially with that pop of peachy coral from the shade Retro. In my opinion, the shades do run a long the same lines but I think that ABH has a lot more texture, sparkle, and a slightly better formulation.

I do think on some levels calling this Naked Reloaded can be a little misleading. People will instantly jump on this because they have a passionate love affair with the original which was discontinued late in August (there was even a faux funeral for it led by Nicole Richie). But I think it’s really on a completely different level in comparison. The shades seem less warmer in my opinion and aren’t your traditional round of brown neutrals. When I think Naked Reloaded I think of some variation on the original palette but I think this is pretty far removed from the original. What do you think?

Too Faced Natural Lust Eyeshadow Palette Boring Snoring or OMG I Must Have This Now?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Too Faced Natural Lust Eyeshadow Palette is a new 30 shade eyeshadow palette that contains brand new “never before seen colors”. When is it coming out? The palette is available today at toofaced.com and ulta.com which was around the time the original Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette launched. Technically speaking that’s the beginning of Spring but in the makeup world that’s somewhat late for a Spring launch which means the promotional of this palette will bleed into Summer.

It feel like the creative well is drying up for Too Faced as this palette doesn’t feel new or fresh by any means. The left side of the palette looks like all the shades run together and the right side does have a shade or two that could be interesting but in no way super unique from colors you likely already own.

Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment for Minty Fresh Lips

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment ($24) is the latest Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment to launch for the Spring 2019 season. I’m surprised they didn’t go with some new shade for the latest seasonal launch but I guess they are starting to run out of colors to do! I’m just throwing it out there that I would totally buy a Pantone Color of the Year shade! A bright, coral would be gorgeous for Summer lips! If you’re listening Fresh please get on that!

Anyway, back to Sugar Mint Rush! This new moisturizing and cool, minty lip balm promises to provide 24 hours worth of hydration with a blend of oils such as jojoba, grape, and avocado.

I have to admit I’d probably be more tempted if this was tinted but as a transparent minty lip balm only? It’s a little expensive!

Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment is available now!

Lunasol The Beige Eyes Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
3 stars out of 5

Lunasol The Beige Eyes Eyeshadow Palette is a new, limited edition 10-pan palette that launched with the Lunasol Spring 2019 Collection in two shade selections. This launched early in January in Japan and I’ve been playing around with it for about two or so weeks now as well as debating whether or not to review it since it is quite costly. Lunasol isn’t a cheap brand to begin with but I was pretty shocked at the price on the Beige Eyes Palette as it’s almost at the $100 mark with secondary sellers marketing it up even further at prices of $120 to $148 USD. That’s a lot to pay for a single palette on the secondary market.

I did pay retail since I had a friend who lives in Japan purchase it for me so, after shipping and such I probably ended up spending a little bit over $100 on this. I decided to review it since a lot of you had requested that I bring back Japanese makeup and beauty reviews which I haven’t done in a while partially because they can be difficult to get. And also, because the secondary market pricing is just terrifying at times.

This was actually a no brainer pick up for me and I admit to even wanting to go one step further and indulge in the second shade selections they offer. It’s a rather special release as Lunasol prepares to celebrate their 20th Anniversary but also, because I’ve never seen them do such a huge palette prior to this. I’ve been collecting now for about 10 or 12 years and this is one of the largest palettes I own from the brand.

Benefit Cheekleaders Mini Cheek Palette for Spring 2019

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

As you know Benefit has two new highlighters called Cookie and Tickle that are available exclusively in the larger The Cheekleaders Squad Cheek Palette that will be launching later this month! These two new shades are also featured in the now available Benefit Cheekleaders Mini Cheek Palette. Where as the squad palettes include five shades these mini cheek palettes include three.

I’m not sure if Benefit plans on releasing Cookie and Tickle in full-size versions but I imagine if they become popular enough and people start buzzing about them they will indeed do just that!

Tickle is probably the shade I want to check out the most as it’s a golden pink highlighter which I think will look amazing with GALifornia (I’m wearing GALifornia in my photo below). Cookie is a golden pearl shade.
