I think makeup palettes tend to be a little poorly made during the Holidays. I mean I remember a time when Holiday palettes were swoon worthy, collectible, and something well worth picking up. But makeup has become very disposable and that saddens me. However, this year I’ve seen some improvements and a lot of brands made a real effort to put their best face forward for the Holiday season and in doing so have given us some very nice selections this year!

As we approach the Sephora 20% Holiday Bonus Event which starts tomorrow (October 25th) at Sephora and Sephora.com I thought I’d offer up some suggestions for gift sets I might be hauling for myself and ones that I think are a really great value.

I think the best thing about the Holiday season in the makeup world is the fact you can get so many great gift sets that enable you to try such a wide array of items from a certain brand’s permanent collection. Hey!

I feel like it’s been ages since I spoke to everyone. I’ve been a LITTLE MIA this week as work has me quite busy! I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the Fall. Here in Gotham it feels like more like Winter than Fall. It just feels like it got cold really quickly! Last year, it was a good deal warmer and I remember being grumpy about having the AC on in October. But now I’m all grumpy that I have to have the heat on in October. I just want some brisk but not too cold Fall weather!

Anyway…!

I wanted some feedback today.

I was wondering if you like and want to hear about makeup sales? I think it is unavoidable once Black Friday I do a lot of posts featuring deals because I think people like hearing about them but I’m not sure if it is too overwhelming at times. So any and all feedback is welcome 🙂
