Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon for Spring 2018

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon seems like a revisit of the chunkier Marc Jacobs Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick that released in 2014. Hmmm! I’m always up for lip crayons though, they happen to be a trend that hasn’t quite died for me and I’m not sure why that is. Maybe because they are travel-friendly, maybe because they are easy to apply, maybe they just remind me of my youth and having thousands of crayons, markers, and colored pencils and pens. Before makeup I was terribly addicted to coloring when I was a child.

These new creamy lip crayons apparently have a wear of 16-hours. Slight eyebrow raise! Apparently they have the feel, look, and wear of a liquid lipstick but in a creamy, lightweight formula. One swipe promises bold, opaque color with a matte finish that applies easily and wears without drying out lips.

I’m trying to figure out how a lip crayon and look and wear like a liquid lipstick! Hmmm! So, maybe they aren’t like Kiss Pop Lip Color Sticks!

They are available in ten shade selections for $26 each and available now at sephora.com.

Milk Makeup Stardust Holographic Stick for Spring 2018

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Milk Makeup Stardust Holographic Stick is the brand’s latest highlighter stick in a gorgeous pink holographic shade. Up until now I haven’t been too tempted by these but I’m not sure I can resist a pink one.

Infused with meteorite powder and twilight pearls this highlighter sticker gives your skin a hint of iridescent pink sheen and glow with a formula that contains hydrating mango butter, coconut, and avocado oil.

The kiss of dewy glow it provides is right on target to give your that otherworldly glow that seems to be the trend of the Spring 2018 season.

Milk Makeup Stardust Holographic Stick is available now at sephora.com for VIB and Rouge members and soon for everyone else.

P.S. Happy Star Wars Week! I hope you’re celebrating by binge watching all the originals in celebration of the Last Jedi’s release. I made Cornish Hens for dinner last night and we pretended it was Porg….

😉

Someone in a galaxy far, far away cringed at that!

Covergirl Peacock Flare Mascara Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Covergirl Peacock Flare Mascara is an early Spring 2018 mascara launch that’s arriving in drugstores now and promises to thicken lashes and give them that flared out fluttery look. I purchase Covergirl Mascaras strictly for review on my blog because in reality I’d probably be quite happy to never have to purchase one again as long as I live. Covergirl Mascara is a very hit or miss situation for most people. You either really, really love everything they do in the mascara or you really, really don’t get it. I’m in the “I don’t get it” group. A majority of their mascara formulas simply don’t work for me for some reason. I think you have to have really long, really full lashes to see the benefits from their formula. I count myself somewhere in the middle of having good lashes, not sparse but also not super full and naturally long either. So, the results I have with many Covergirl Mascara is mediocre at best.

Sadly, Peacock Flare Mascara is a miss which comes as no great surprise.
