Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Goddess Glow Eyeshadow Palette Is a Must have

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Oh yes! I will be purchasing the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Goddess Glow Eyeshadow Palette ($39)! This is rather late coming considering the Bronze Goddess Collection typically launched early in the Spring for the Summer season but here we are nearly in August and Estee Lauder decided to “surprise” us with this gem!

Typically, the Bronze Goddess Eyeshadow Palette is made up of warm tones of bronze and gold paired with aqua. It’s sort of the standard with the Bronze Goddess Collection but damn they went utterly different with the Bronze Goddess Goddess Glow Eyeshadow Palette! It’s still quite warm but no aqua in this baby! There’s is a pretty peach though that’s calling my name! Well, actually, it’s screaming my name!

The palette includes six shades total with pearl and matte finishes. I could probably do without that solid black liner shade in all honesty but aside from that really loving the other shades.

Loving this!

Anyone going to pick it up!?

Natasha Denona Transformatte Pore Vanishing Matte Foundation for Fall 2018

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Natasha Denona Transformatte Pore Vanishing Matte Foundation ($45) in 35 shade selections. I dunno how I feel about yet another matte foundation but here we are! This medium-to-high coverage formula gives uneven skin texture a smooth appearance thanks to a special ingredient called star botanic extract and provides a matte finish.

It also contains a mix of silicone elastomers that give the formula a lasting wear as well as peptides to protect skin from bacteria.

Hmm…! Sounds interesting enough but I don’t really need another matte foundation in my life especially with the colder weather on the horizon.

What do you think?

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eyeshadow Palette review and swatches

My review of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eyeshadow Palette ($42) is way late! Sorry about that! I ordered it the day it launched, got a shipment notice within hours of my order, tracked it, and got an estimate arrival but after that nothing. It never arrived. When I tracked it again via Fedex it hadn’t moved from the warehouse. I called customer service to see what was up and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it until a certain number of days had passed by. So, I waited and had plans to call back but within 48 hours I got another shipment notice and finally, it arrived.

Phew!

That was a lot of trouble for one eyeshadow palette 🙂

If you haven’t heard or if you’re living under a rock the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eyeshadow Palette is the newest, limited edition 14-pan eyeshadow palette from the brand that launched late last month which contains an array of purples and pinks. Of course, the whole makeup world went wild with this one because purple eyeshadow. Oh my god! Everyone run around in circles and squeal. With the endless nude palette releases it was understandable why people were excited not to mention the fact that we’re headed into Fall and purple, well purple is such a Fall friendly shade isn’t it?

Two Things I Really Want To Try from NIOD

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It’s still Summer but I’m bracing for the cold weather and already concerned about my moisture intake. I’ve added NIOD Voicemail Masque and Hydration Vaccine to my Winter skincare wish list and I’m hoping they prove as miraculous as everyone claims they are. NIOD is a brand created by the Ordinary but does quite come as cheap!

NIOD Hydration Vaccine is an interesting formula. This actually acts as a breathable and weightless hydration seal that creates a barrier around your skin so water and moisture isn’t loss. Apparently it contains Fungi Composite Organisms that reverse loss of firmness so skin appears 20 years younger. Damn those be some big claims!

NIOD Voicemail Masque is an equally interest formula. This is a leave-on overnight mask that attacks dullness and uneven skin tone. According to them within one use your skin will appear brighter! I recently purchased Paula Radiance Renewal Mask and I have to admit after all the raving reviews I was somewhat disappointed I didn’t notice any major change in my skin after using the entire bottle. I should hope Voicemail Masque is better at $45.

It’s probably too early to be worrying about Winter skincare but believe me Summer flies by fast and before you know it we’ll be worried about the cold weather once again! I, for one, can’t wait even though it’s havoc on my dry skin!

What’s on your skincare wish list at the moment?

I Need the Caboodles Rose Gold On The Go Girl Makeup Case

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

If you didn’t own a Caboodles Makeup Case you haven’t lived. I mean you probably aren’t even a true makeup lover if you haven’t had one in your life. I STILL have one. It’s a lilac marble purple and it’s pushed way to the back of my closet and lord knows probably has photos of my first boyfriend stored inside of it or something. I imagine there’s some nostalgic treasure in their be it a fond makeup memory or otherwise.

I dunno what it was about Caboodles but they were so oddly appealing. Maybe my inner organizer was just screaming to get out even in my tender teen years. Technically speaking, nowadays, I’d say a Caboodle couldn’t even hold my essential makeup items. There’s just not enough room in that case. But when I was 16? HELL it held my entire collection.

Just for giggles I really want the Caboodles Rose Gold On The Go Girl Makeup Case ($19.99) because 1. the rose gold shade is gorgeous and 2. I want to relive some good makeup memories 😉

If you have a daughter, son, niece, or nephew that loves makeup I’m sure they’d dig this case.

I think I’m going to sit in front of the TV, organize my makeup in this thing, and watch Pretty in Pink! It was always you Duckie!
