Milani Bold Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is a new 12 pan eyeshadow palette that launched a few short days ago much to my surprise because really, have we ever seen a Milani Eyeshadow Palette this large!? I’m all about it! If you remember there was a collective excitement when Maybelline launched the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette as we had never seen a drugstore eyeshadow palette that big before. This gave birth to many others like the Revlon Not Just Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, the Almay Complete Look Palettes, and Covergirl Trunaked Eyeshadow Palettes.

I think it was rather novel to see drugstore palettes that had more than two to four shades and since that time more and more budget brands have embraced larger palette launches. As for Milani, it’s a first!

This new palette features 12 nude, natural shades in matte and metallic finishes that promise a “high pigment” formula. We’ll see how it goes. I’m expecting good things as Milani tends to not disappoint.

Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip for Spring 2018 is one of two new, limited edition sets that came out this month! Likely by now you got already got your hands on the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some New Lip Kit that launched late December but if that set was unappealing you might well like this all nude set that launched last week!

The set includes five deluxe size lip products as well as one full-size. The listing is wrong on Sephora but there are items from NARS, Urban Decay, Smashbox, Buxom, and other brands in this set.

The new Hourglass Graphik Eyeshadow Palette looks incredible. Hourglass Cosmetics launched these in four shade selections for Spring 2018 and I see at least two that I really want. I do have my reservations though since Hourglass Modernist Eyeshadow Palettes didn’t exactly turn out all that great.

I have hopes the new Graphik Eyeshadow Palettes prove more promising.

Remember when E.L.F. used to do that crazy comparison marketing? I remember they used to compare their blush to NARS at a fraction of the cost. I kind of miss those annoying little dupe ads. I was thinking of this because their new Prep & Blur Stick would have fit in perfectly as a comparison to Milk’s Blur Stick.

Makes you wonder why they stopped doing those adverts!
