Bath & Body Works Spends Spring in Paris with Three New Scents

Rose Champagne, French Rivera, and Bonjour Paris are three new Bath & Body Works Fragrances for Spring 2017 that are arriving now at stores. Every year, Bath & Body Works releases some sort of Paris inspired scents that we all flock to the stores to get and all of which end up smelling like something we already own. If nothing at all, you can count on Bath & Body Works to give you a severe case of deja vu (French pun intended!).

I haven’t smelled the newest Spring scents so, I’m hoping for unique but bracing for that, “Have we not met before?” feeling!

I have to say I love the bottles. They are quite lovely. I’m looking forward to smelling these but I’m a on a little bit of a Bath & Body Works ban because I just have too much of it and end up not using it because the scents tend to disappear quickly on my body chemistry. I’m one that gets involved stockpiling because of their limited edition everything collections so, I’ve been avoiding buying candles or mists, etc…! So far, I’ve stuck to it but this Paris Collection might do me in.

Hard Candy Blooming Lip Oil Review & Swatches

Hard Candy Blooming Lip Oil ($6) is a new, unique way to embrace the lip oil trend that’s sweeping the beauty world. Lip oils are a makeup trend that seem to return again and again. It all started, last year when Milani Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment launched at drugstores. After that, everyone was launching some sort of interesting lip oil formula. It’s actually a trend that’s much more evolved at the drugstore than with mid or higher end brands. This year, quite a few different drugstore lines are doing a lip oil like the recently released Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil that launched earlier this Spring.

And now Hard Candy is getting in the trend but they obviously recognized that people might just be a little tired of the trend. So, their Blooming Lip Oil has a little twist…something a little different to keep you interested.

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Cleansing Oil Stick Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Cleansing Oil Stick ($26) is one of several new Urban Decay Skincare products that launched for Spring 2017. This is actually a rather unique and interesting cleansing oil sticks from goes from balm to oil as you apply and massage it on your face. It acts to remove makeup, dirt, and oil with a mix of sunflower seed oil and vitamin e.

Last year, beauty stick everything was taking over our life. There were cleanser sticks, primer sticks, etc…etc…..! There was just a whole like of beauty stick everything going down. The idea of a cleansing stick made me break out into a cold sweat to be honest because it seemed messy also, kind of gross right? I mean swiping on your face and recapping? Just seems a breeding ground for bacteria. Apparently, that’s not the case though!? But I still find it a little odd. Although, I will say Tarte’s Frxxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser went a long way at changing my mind about cleansing sticks.

Let’s take a look at my review and thoughts about Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Cleansing Oil Stick.

Lorac Pirates Of The Caribbean Cheek Palette Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Lorac Pirates Of The Caribbean Cheek Palette ($30) arrives just in time for the Summer with a selection of Color Source Buildable Blush shades and Light Source Illuminating Highlighters.

This palette is part of the limited edition Lorac’s Pirates of the Caribbean Collection inspired by the new movie that’s launching in May. When I originally saw the palette’s promo images I wasn’t sure if I needed or not and even after getting in my hands I still wasn’t sure if it was something I needed. Because as much as I love the Color Source Buildable Blush formula, this also included a good deal of highlighters which I felt I wouldn’t make much use of.

Let’s see how I feel now!
