Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial for Baby Soft Skin

So, my new technique for retexturing my skin is to apply two different masks one after another. I have fairly smooth skin but sometimes it can get flaky and rough. I apply an exfoliating mask first followed by a hydrating one. It seems to really work to remove flakes and smooth out my skin. I swear my blush and foundation never looked so good after doing this in the evenings.

Anyway, speaking of baby soft skin, did anyone check that new Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial?

Sonia Kashuk Pretty Cheeky Face Palette for Spring 2017

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The delightfully sweet Sonia Kashuk Face Palette Pretty Cheeky ($19.99) is available today at Target.com and I will indeed be picking it up considering this might just be the last seasonal color release we see from the brand. Or at least one that Sonia helped created considering she is leaving the brand as creative director after this release. Sad sigh. You’ll be missed, Sonia.

Looks like for her final bow she’s going with the contouring and highlighting trend that brands, youTubers, and Instagrammers love so much. This little palette includes a bronzer/sculpting powder, highlighter, and a sunny orange blush. It actually brings to mind the Sahara Sunset Makeup Collection from Spring 2015 that includes that darling Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Blusher that I was so in love with.

I’m not much of a contour or a highlighter kind of girl but I love this blush shade. Hmm the palette might just end up like my experience with the Rimmel Kate Sculpting and Highlighting Kit!

As for the rest of the Sonia Kashuk Spring 2017 Collction there are some new brush sets and makeup bags available at target.com but no other color cosmetics. I’ll keep you posted with more news as it becomes available.

What do you think?

Will you be purchasing it?

By the way all the Peach & Lily K-Beauty Collection is available now at target.com as well!

Glamglow GravityMud Sonic Blue Firming Treatment Because Sonic the Hedgehog

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Glamglow GravityMud Sonic Blue Firming Treatment hit Sephora.com and I want it because Sonic the Hedgehog OMG! As a gamer this completely slayed me but I’m not a big Glamglow fan girl to be honest, I don’t get the hype.

But I remember the first time I played Sonic the Hedgehog was on a babysitting job. I can’t really remember how old I was at the time but I just remember being introduced to the joys of Sonic and being utterly disenchanted with Nintendo after that first time playing it. Granted, Sonic would never take over my love of Mario but at the time it was an exciting and new console so, of course, I needed to have a Sega to call my own. That night when the little boy I was babysitting went to sleep I totally sat there until his parents got home playing Sonic the Hedgehog. Thankfully, he didn’t wake up once through my binge and I left there with a goofy grin on my face and the plan to get my own Sega as soon as humanly possible.

Memories! Memories evoked by Glamglow GravityMud Sonic Blue Firming Treatment which is currently breaking the Internet as everyone and their mom across blogs, Instagram, and youTube rave its awesomeness. This one is a vibrant blue and a peeling mask that firms to reveal tighter, more lifted skin, and a brighter complexion.

Sadly, I haven’t quite found a Glamglow mask that works for me yet. Most seem a bit over hyped.

Do I need this Sonic Blue one? My geeky good nature is telling me yes but my logical side is telling me no.

Tried it?

Do share!

Hey Honey Trick or Treat Concealer Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

I recent purchased a tube of Hey Honey Trick or Treat Active Propolis Cream Concealer ($32) due to the name and the raving reviews. I was hoping you skipped over that part where I said I purchased because of the name but you likely didn’t did you? I mean who can resist something called Trick or Treat Concealer? Seriously, though this not only sparks my curiosity but also, my great love of Halloween comes out to play.

I actually wasn’t sure why they called it Trick or Treat, there doesn’t seem to be any rhythm or reason to the name. No cute, whimsical reason they opted for that name. Nada! For me, for some reason, it brought to mind the old school Halloween face paint kits I used as a child. To this day, Wet n Wild still produces them. The second thing I thought was oh, maybe it’s a strong orange-y tone that will neutralize darker circles. But nope, none of that applied here. So, the name will remain a mystery.
