I’m one of those people that’s always on to the next best thing. I mean, half the fun of makeup and beauty is the hunt isn’t it? I secretly never want to find the glossiness of lipglosses, the best and creamiest concealer, or the longest wearing blush. Why? Because I like trying new stuff, I like hunting out brand new products. It’s part of what makeup so much fun!

I love Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum which is why I decided to give Memebox Nooni Moisture-On Deep Water Dual Moisturizing Toner a try. Granted, they are dupes of each other by any means but the bi-phase concept is the same which is what intrigued me about Moisture-On Deep Water Dual Moisturizing Toner.

NYX Liquid Suede Metallic Matte ($7.49) are a new metallic long-wearing liquid lipstick that’s a new take on the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick formula that released two years ago.

This is just one of the oxymoron matte metallic lip products that launched over the last few weeks! We have Revlon Ultra HD Matte Metallic Lipcolor and Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Metallics Lipstick just to name a few! It’s all the rage right now to be both matte and metallic. Shrug! So far, I don’t think any of these formulas really stick out as me as must haves. Anything liquid or gloss-like in texture seems to be the worst formula for me as they feel dry or they look patchy on my lips.

By far though, the worst offender of this trend has to come from the NYX Liquid Suede Metallic Matte formula. I’m really glad I only purchased one shade because I really disliked how it applied, looked, and felt on my lips.
