Jo Malone Coming Soon to Sephora and Stephen King Goodness!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Jo Malone is coming soon to Sephora and Sephora.com! That’s right, you’ll be able to get all your favorite Jo Malone Fragrances from Sephora now. The original launch date was supposed to be March 28th but it still says coming soon on Sephora’s site! None the less, it’s very exciting news for fans of the brand not to mention you can take advantage of 20% off when the Rouge/VIB Event happens in November.

Yay!

More good news?

The It trailer! OMG! I’ve read and re-read and read It several hundred times. I still have the original paperback I purchased at B. Dalton in the early 90’s. I totally loved the mini-series version because I mean, come on, Tim Curry, need I say more!? I dunno if anyone can do Pennywise as fantastically amazing as him but I’m willing to give this new one a go. I’m a little sad there’s no confirmation of a sequel. We’re only getting the past in this version not the future adult story. But I’m hopeful it’ll do so well that Warner Brothers will be compelled to create a sequel! It’s out in September and I’ll be first in line for a ticket.

Oh hey, but by the way, can we get Dark Tower trailer already? Apparently, cinema owners got a glance at it this week but it hasn’t been launched officially on the Internet yet. And hello, my inner fan girl did a little squee because there’s a brief mention of the Overlook in it. Shut the hell up! I do so love my King cross references.

Until that trailer gets a chance to circulate I’ll leave you Idris Elba’s Valentine’s Day video because it is so worth reposting this!

CVS Now Carries K-Beauty Brands Like Holika Holika, Elisha Coy, and The Saem

Can’t get enough of Korean beauty? CVS will now be carrying a selection of K-Beauty brands in store with a new K-Beauty HQ section! Popular Korean brands like Holika Holika, the Saem, Elisha Coy, and more will be available at over 2,100 CVS stores nationwide.

Korean beauty has come a very, very long way since I started blogging nearly ten years ago (did you know my face made it into the Etude House Newsletter that was available in Korean Etude House stores several years ago? How crazy is that!). Needless to say nowadays the K-beauty trend is everywhere you look and CVS is bringing it to drugstores too! Earlier last month, Target announced they would be teaming up with Peach & Lily to bring more K-Beauty to stores and their online site. Alicia Yoon from Peach & Lily is now working with CVS as well to bring us the latest, greatest Korean skincare and makeup. Target is the closest we’ve seen to an actual “drugstore” having K-Beauty! I’ve even more excited to seeing CVS having K-Beauty. I mean who doesn’t have a local CVS on ever street corner right? Imagine walking and getting your fav K-Beauty brands at your local store?

For now, K-Beauty HQ at CVS is limited to 2,100 locations so not all stores will have items available but they will also be available at www.cvs.com. There will one 100 plus items available from Alicia’s own brand Peach Slices as well as products from Holika Holika, Ariul, Elisha Coy, The Saem, and JJYoung by Caolion.

I’m very excited about this news and I’m hoping some of my CVS stores get K-Beauty in stock!

Elensilia Escargot Original Repair Cream Simply the Best Snail Extract Cream

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

I thought I’d take a minute out to review and rave Elensilia Escargot Original Repair Cream because in my opinion it’s one of the best snail extract creams available and believe me, I’ve tried plenty. When Korea was having their snail cream everything moment a few years ago I totally got on board with trying a variety of formulas from a variety of different brands. I don’t know if I was as grossed out by the idea of a snail moisturizer the way most people were because I mean if I can eat snails I can sure as hell put their extract on my face right? P.S. They basically taste like butter, that’s the primary flavor so, as long as you’re cool with a calamari-type texture you’ll be fine. I’m half Portuguese, we eat Octopus, snail is definitely not an issue, I’ve eaten weirder stuff in my life.

Now, I’ve tried both expensive and inexpensive snail creams but one of the best I’ve come across is most definitely by Elensilia.

Here’s my thoughts!

Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist Is Like a Refreshing Glass of 7-Up For Your Face

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist ($15) is new, refreshingly effervescent facial mist that promises to wake up your skin. Honestly, it smells like a glass of ice cold 7-Up! I’m obsessed with facial mists and I have quite a line up of different ones I use. Pixi has a slew of different ones to choose from lately like a new Sun Mist, a Hydrating Milky Mist, Glow Mist, Makeup Fixing Mist, you name it they have a facial mist formula for it.

Vitamin Wakeup Mist is their newest cocktail that promises to awaken your complexion. This one acts as a toner that hydrates with glycerin and castor oil. It also contains orange blossom water as a base with other citrus-y ingredients thus that yummy 7-Up scent I’m getting.

Let’s take a look!
