The new Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette for Summer 2016 has arrived! This stunning palette combines dramatic berry tones along with a selection of neutrals to create modern, chic looks.

The palette contains a total of 14 shades, 11 of which are matte and three metallics as well as a dual-ended brush for application.

I was talking on the phone with Dusty a few months ago and we got into a conversation about how fine Rowena from Supernatural looks. If you’re not a Supernatural fan girl or guy you likely have no idea what I’m talking about but for those who are I’m sure at some point you were left wondering what makeup Rowena was wearing. This is particularly the case for her eye makeup because that girl sports some fantastic eyeshadow looks!

At one point, I felt positive she was wearing Urban Decay Mildew Eyeshadow as across a few episodes she had on this stunning sparkly olive green on her eyes that flattered her creamy skin and gorgeous red hair perfectly.

In more recent, episodes you’ll catch her wearing a fuchsia and purple blue look.

I have to admit I’ve mused what Alanna Masterson wore on Talking Dead and Mercedes Mason’s might be wearing but Rowena aka Ruthie Connell beats both of them out with her dramatic eye looks.

If you follow the Darkness aka Amara aka Emily Swallow on Twitter she actually retweets a lot of makeup tidbits about Supernatural. Recently, she disclosed the shade of greige nail polish she was wearing when stroking Dean’s face. Hey, you know you likely had a brief moment where you wish that was you stroking Dean’s fast but the thought was super quickly overtaken by, “OMG THAT NAIL POLISH IS SO FLEEK!”

Up until now mum has been the word on Rowena’s makeup but recently the makeup artist for Supernatural shared a little bit of what might be on her eyes. Looks like Make Up For Ever and Charlotte Tilbury are two names mentioned. Hm..! There goes my theory about Urban Decay!

Heads up, Lushies! Brand new Lush Soaps are winging there way into stores for Summer 2016 and online for purchase now if you’re a bit impatient! One happens to be a mix of peppermint oil and maple syrup. Yeah, mental cringe because how does peppermint and maple syrup even work together!? But knowing Lush it probably smells some kind of wonderful.

Lately, I feel like the older I get the more I appreciate natural makeup looks. I never thought there would come a time in my life where I felt like shimmer and sparkle eyeshadow was too much. But lately, that’s exactly how I feel!

Don’t get me wrong I still love me some sparkly eyeshadow but sometimes a simple wash of matte tan on my eyes is all I need to look fresh and natural. Plus with the warmer weather headed our way lightweight makeup is always a plus!
