Wet n Wild Cherry Frost Silk Finish Lipstick

Who even knew $1 lipstick was a thing? Doesn’t the idea of paying ninety nine cents for makeup anything make you cringe slightly or am I just a snob? I just think, “wait, what? A dollar? Skip! It must suck!”

But true story, my favorite red lipstick costs a $1! Or if you want to be technical it costs .99 cents thank you very much.

Dr. Jart Dermaclear Micro Water Why You Make My Eyes Burn So Much!?

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Dr. Jart Dermaclear Micro Water

If you ever tried Mandom Cleansing Express Moist Cleansing Lotion you’ll likely very familiar with the burn and sting that comes along with using it. Great cleansing water but damn it hurts so bad.

Dr. Jart Dermaclear Micro Water falls into this category! This stuff is fabulous but OUCH! It burns my eyes terribly.

Hit or Miss: Facial Oils

facial oils

I feel facial oils are kinda sorta losing momentum in the trending world. Granted, we all still use ’em and many brands continue to pump out new ones daily (HELLOOOO Tom Ford $250 Facial Oil!) but they seem to be a trend that tapered off a little bit. I’m thinking cleansing balms are the next big trend myself 🙂 Or maybe essences! Those are getting a lot of air time recently aren’t they?

Are facial oils a hit or a miss for you?

Just One More Facial Milk….

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Julep What Your Skin Needs Restorative Facial Milk

Facial Milk fan girls and guys rejoice because another is on the way! Julep What Your Skin Needs Restorative Facial Milk ($38) is a new lightweight facial milk that contains a blend of five oils including jojoba, argan, coconut, olive, and squalane. These act to nourish and hydrate skin.

I’m actually not a fond fan of facial milks and wasn’t terribly impressed with Josie Maran’s Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment when I tried it at the original launch. I swear anything that combines intensive and hydrating in the name should be just that but I can’t say it worked out for this dry skin girl. I do find milky serums like this are great for day wearing. I personally don’t like using facial oil in the day so a milky serum a nice, lightweight alternative.

Sounds like Julep’s formula will be similar to Josie’s or maybe more hydrating?

We shall see!

It’s available now at qvc.com.

Anyone try it?
