Lush’s The Comforter Shower Cream Smells Like a Hello Kitty Eraser

Lush the Comforter Shower Cream

I remember when I was in the 4th grade I begged my mother for a Hello Kitty Pencil Case. Now it wasn’t any old pencil case, it was the height of pencil case technology. It had not one but two sides to store pencils plus it had a pop out draw with a sharpener and a pop out eraser too. I believe at the time it was $20 or $25 which was pretty expensive for the time.

My mom, being my mom, brought it for me along with a ton of stickers and a big old pink Hello Kitty eraser. I can remember the eraser the most! It came in a pink plastic sleeve and had a triangle tip. And it smelled amazing! So amazing in fact that all through 4th grade I didn’t use, just merely took it out to get high off the scent of it. I’m deadly seriously. I sniff of that eraser just put me in my happy place. It often got passed around the room because everyone really liked the buzz that eraser gave us. Thinking back on it, I could have been charging other 4th graders to sniff my eraser. Such a miss opportunity!

I can’t really describe the scent or at least I couldn’t until I tried Lush the Comforter Shower Cream, Shower Gel, and Bubble Bar. Because that’s exactly what the eraser smelled like! Lush Comforter!

A Little Sparkly Eye Look with Pixi Fairy Dust Loose Pigment

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Pixi Fairy Dust

Pixi Fairy Dust Loose Pigment ($10) is a loose powder eyeshadow (or face highlighter should you like) available in eight shades. I’ve actually kind of grow out of loose eyeshadows. You know, the thing about loose pigments and eyeshadows is they create this need to collect as they look so pretty and unassuming in their little pots. But once you start applying them you want to fling them out the window because they can be messy with major fall out problems.

I have soooooooooo many MAC Pigments that are currently get zero love because I just can’t deal with the mess of using them. This is one reason I don’t get overly involved in Indie mineral companies. Well, actually the other reason would be that Indie companies have such a huge array of colors I know my magpie ways would not be satified until I purchased ALL of them.

On that note I will say, no fairies were harmed in the making of this post but sparkly eye lids are to be had here with a little bit of a mess but nothing too bad.

What Brand Would You Like To See Sold at Sephora?

sephora brands

Some people like Sephora, some prefer Ulta, and others don’t like either and just stick to drugstore makeup and beauty. I personally prefer Sephora over Ulta. I know Ulta’s perks are so much better but there are still brand’s I can’t yet get at Ulta that are only available at Sephora. I also like the way Sephora’s site is set up compared to Ulta’s which is a bit more difficult to navigate and find what I’m looking for.

What brand (or brands) would you like to see sold at Sephora that they don’t currently carry? Maybe something that Ulta sells that you can’t get at Sephora? Or heck, maybe you’d like to see drugstore makeup at Sephora!

Give me a few brands you wish Sephora would carry!

I’d love to see Lipstick Queen at Sephora. I think Lipstick Queen would be a great addition to Sephora’s catalog plus maybe we’d see some interesting exclusives. I’d also love it if Sephora carried even more Korean brands. Currently, they carry a few K-Beauty brands but it feels like a passing trend for them! I’d love to see more commitment and variety to Korean brands.

I’m also hoping, given time, Sephora expends on their Indie Fragrance Collection and starts launching Indie Fragrances in store as well as online. Right now they are carrying some great fragrance houses such as Juliette Has a Gun, Commodity, Histoires de Parfums, and Etat Libre d’Orange but I’d love to see even more and better still if they were available in store for testing that would be great!
