Various news outlets are reporting the Adele will be launching a beauty and lifestyle brand soon called the Shelbourne Collective. There is no official information but apparently the collection with feature body care, fragrances, eyeshadows, and eyeliners as well as jewelry including watches.

I mean, I can’t lie and say I wouldn’t purchase a body and fragrance line that Adele put out. I’d be terribly curious about it to be sure not to mention she’s a master at eyeliner so, I’m gonna need an eyeliner that makes my lines as sharp as the ones on Adele’s eyes.

Adele isn’t the first muscian to enter the world of beauty. She has plenty of competition from Rhianna, Jennifer Lopez, Halsey , Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Selena Gomez, and many, many more. Out of all of them seems like Selena’s Rare Beauty brand is the one that stands out and hopefully Adele can obtain that cult status when she does launch the Shelbourne Collective. I do wonder at the price as if the collection includes jewelry and watches will it be a more luxury brand? Or a more mid-range one? I also always question if right now is the best time to

Adele recently completed her residency in Vegas and she may be ready for a break and signing on for a lifestyle and beauty brand seems the next step in her journey. I do always question celebs doing beauty or lifestyle brands (look at Leto’s Twentynine Palms! That sunk already due to issues between Leto and management). Also, the economy feels like it doesn’t need another brand but sales do tell a different story with beauty sales apparently remaining strong. But I guess it really does depend which brand and what they are selling! You have to be fresh, unique, and innovative in this industry to make it in my opinion!

Let’s see if the Shelbourne Collective gives us fresh, exciting, and different.

There’s an eyeshadow palette for everything including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade is as New York as New York gets. Three whole hours of crowds, floats, and and a little bit of Broadway. If you’re lucky enough to live or know someone that lives around Central Park West you’ll have a perfect view of the parade without ever leaving your home. If not, well, you’re either in luck and have a warm Fall day to enjoy the parade or you end of freezing yourself silly. It’s a toss up.

I’m bred, born, and raised here and I’ve been to the parade five times in my life and that’s plenty. It’s just chaotic to me and I’d rather be home with my friends and family enjoying Thanksgiving versus being on the streets of Manhattan with a bunch of strangers in a huge crowd. It doesn’t hold the same appeal when you’re an adult as it did when you were a child. And let’s not even discuss the line to see Santa. Santaland actually went digital a few years back and you can snag tickets now which makes things a bit easier but I remember the days of waiting in line. There’s really nothing as magical in this city as traveling up to the 8th floor on a wooden escalator that’s likely been there since the Gilded Age. I could be wrong, don’t quote me, but pretty sure the escalators have been there since day 1, 1858. They really haven’t but it’s fun to think they’ve been there that long. But they are old. They were installed around around 1920 to 1930 by Otis Elevators. That makes me feel safe. I’m being drool. Macy’s does still have a certain magic to it. Especially around the Holidays! That being said if you’d like to experience the joys of the parade on your eyes Macy’s has a palette for that. Just when you though you’ve saw it all you realize you haven’t. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Confetti Collection Eyeshadow Palette is a ten buck palette featuring 16 “Macy’s Day Parade” inspired. It’s just a nude palette really! Nothing special but it may hold a certain appeal for those who collect Macy’s themed items.

We likely don’t need this one but even I can admit the idea is a cute one if not a well executed one.

Well, no one can see that Beautyblender isn’t bold for this release! Introducing the new Beautyblender Gold Vault Collectors Set for Holiday 2023. This sucker contains twelve best-selling and what Beautyblender calls “most-coveted” Beautyblenders sponges into one huge gift set.

Let’s do math. $16.25 per sponge which is a $3.75 savings per sponge. Yeah, but no. Ok, so, yeah Beautyblender makes good sponges and their sponges were pretty ahead of their time back in 2015. But now? It’s so easy to get a good sponge for a lot less. And who in their right mind wants 12 of them for $195 dollars? That’s a pretty bold release right there. I dodged a bullet! Thank god the Pat Mcgrath Bijoux Brilliance MTHRSHP & Eye Palette Totale sold out. It was too tempting! I broke out in a sweat when I saw Pat Mcgrath had up to 40% off sitewide.
