Olay Deep Moisture Slugging Mask is a new, hydrating sleeping mask that’s launching for Fall 2023 and I think I’m going to need a jar. Although, we must address the fact it already has 5 stars and there are absolutely no reviews on the website. I’m still getting over the trauma of the Olay Hyaluronic + Peptide 24 Skincare release reviews maybe we need to slow our roll with these 5-star ratings, Olay.

Anyway!!! I happen to be a slugger and do it quite often in the Winter as my skin loves the moisture. Typically, I just go cheap and do it with Cerave Healing Ointment but I got a little fancy a few months ago and started using the complete Futurewise Slugging Collection which I really quite love.

But hey, I’m here for a drugstore slugging trend! Let’s do this Olay!

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blush + Smooth Tint Stick ($34) for Fall 2023 is a new, “flexiable skin tint” that melts into skin for a natural, skin0like finish. Swipe it on, blend it, and it’ll provide an instantly smooth and blurred appearance. The formula promises light yet long-wearing coverage that doesn’t fade nor transfer and is infused with Murumuru Butter for hydration as well as hyaluronic acid to smooth and plump skin! Apparently, it has “true color pigments” that help the foundation to remain true to shade without oxidizing.

Their marketing claims “That natural-skin flex—fast lightweight coverage that melts into skin, so easy you can’t f**k it up” It sounds incredible and it’s totally giving be Benefit Play Stick vibes. Man, I miss Play Sticks! I love a good stick foundation because I’m very no-nonsense about foundation application! I’m a swipe and go girl! I don’t need fancy brushes for foundation application and I don’t apply a ton of it. A quick swivel up stick that I can swipe on and blend with my fingers is ideal coverage for me. I love the idea of this but I’m just a little concerned it might be TOO moisturizing. I know, insane right? I’m the one always saying I need as much moisture as I can get. And this still holds true but I don’t like foundation that’s TOO hydrating as it slips off easily. But I trust in Fenty (and Riri) and I’m hoping for some cool with these new Eaze Drop Blush + Smooth Tint Sticks! The sticks are available in 25 shades which is considerably less than Pro-Filt’r. .

Hi Barbie! Ready for your Lush x Barbie Collection? The folks over at Lush Cosmetics imagined just what Barbie would prep with in her shower and bath and they are bringing it to to the fans. I didn’t get the memo about Touchland Mist Cases being a thing (or Touchland Mist Cases with a lanyard). Is this new? Is the old? If it’s old why was I never informed? All kidding aside I didn’t realize Touchland did cases for their mists. I need one now thanks every so much! I feel like I need a pink one and maybe a purple one too! P.S. ulta.com carries them too now (but only an orange one! Maybe more on the horizon?!).

We just need one MORE thing now…one thing that could be very dangerous.

Confession time. I love the Back to School season. Remember the commercial with the dad dancing around the aisles of Staples while Andy Williams sang, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” in the background? Well, I don’t have kids but I’m pretty much that dad at Target, Staples, and anywhere else they have back-to-school supplies, storage, makeup, and snackies. I love everything about Back to School! The crayons, the markers (I may have a very slight addiction in this area), the folders, the new snacks that launch, the storage oh god the storage (mini orgasm!), and of course, sometimes we get a makeup item or two at the drugstore for the season!
