Maison Margiela Replica On A Date Launches for Spring

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Maison Margiela On A Date Perfume is a new Replica fragrance launch for Spring 2023 that’s now available at Sephora. I’m personally not a big fan of florals but I’ll try anything Replica makes at least once but full disclosure I’ve never really liked Flower Market nor Springtime in the Park by the brand. I did notice that it looks like On a Date might be the replacement for Flower Market which has been discontinued.

Maison Margiela On A Date Perfume is a warmer floral thanks to the addition of Patchouli. I know, I know. Patchouli. Not my favorite note either but there is a black currant liquor note here as well as a rose petal one and that might just work really well with the patchouli! You might get a nice sweetness from the black currant, warm from that crazy girl patchouli, and a touch of delicate elegance from the rose.

Just like all of the Replica scents this fragrance is supposed to bring back the memory of falling in love for the first time. I remember the first time I thought I was in love! I was 9ish, he was 12-13ish, his name was Ryan and he was my neighbor’s best friend. I remember when he and my neighbor would walk home from the park and I’d be at my bedroom window behind the curtain sneaking a look at them walking up the hill….! I was invisible to him. He likely doesn’t even know I exist which is weird because at that age I was positive he was my future husband and father to my children! It’s weird I have this “I’m in love with this kid” memory and he’s somewhere out there not even knowing that!

Who’s your first love or “love”? Perhaps Maison Margiela Replica On A Date will make you think of her or him!

Maison Margiela Replica On A Date is available now at Sephora. If you wanna dip your toe in the travel spray is $35. That’s the way I’m going! I typically blindbuy large bottles of Replica but florals just aren’t my thing so a travel spray might be the way to go this time!

Covergirl Clean Fresh Yummy Gloss Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

Covergirl Clean Fresh Yummy Gloss ($10.99 0.33 oz) is a new Hyaluronic Acid infused flavored sheer lipgloss that has a clean, vegan formula with a blend of naturally-derived Antioxidant Berries (Acai, Gogi and Black Elderberry) that launched for Spring 2023. These are available in three flavors which are berry, coconut, and pineapple.

I happen to love a glossy lip look! Always have, and always will! Even when I wear lipstick I’m topping it with clear gloss. I’ve never been a matte lipstick or lip color kind of girl! One of the things I absolutely love about Tiktok beauty zoomers is the fact they really appreciate a glossy lip look and really love lip oils of any kind. I’ve seriously never seen a generation that loved glossiness as much as I do! It feels great that finally, someone is in the same boat as me.

That being said, I picture Covergirl Clean Fresh Yummy Gloss as coming out strong for Spring 2023. It has the look, feel and finish of a gloss but the formula feels like a hydrating lip oil and I’m here for that.

Makeup Revolution IRL Filter Finish Concealer Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

Makeup Revolution IRL Filter Finish Concealer ($7) is a new, incredibly inexpensive concealer that launched for Spring 2023 in sixteen shades that promises to filter blemishes, dark circles, and fine lines while providing full, breathable coverage and sixteen hours of wear. I am always really excited when Makeup Revolution launches a concealer. I’m a bit fan of Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer and it’s one of the reasons I race to try anything new concealer launches from Makeup Revolution.

That being said, I have learned the hard way that not everything is as good as Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer. A lot of Makeup Revolution concealers are a miss for me sadly but it never sways me from trying them anyway!

Make Revolution launched IRL Filter Longwear Foundation a few months ago and I purchased it upon launch bit the verdict is out if I actually like it. I’m a huge fan of Conceal & Hydrate Foundation but IRL Filter doesn’t have me convinced.

Nonetheless, I immediately purchased Makeup Revolution IRL Filter Finish Concealer and here’s my review and thoughts on it.

Fine’ry Sweet On the Outside Perfume Is Not An Eilish Dupe

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.
5 stars out of 5

Fine’ry Sweet On the Outside Perfume is one of several new, permanent fragrances launching at Target for Spring 2023. As you may know from my prior post Sweet On The Outside was described as a dupe of Eilish Eau de Parfum on Tiktok recently. On Tiktok I feel like everything is a dupe for everything. From Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk to Baccarat Rouge 540 Tiktok is filled with influencers offering up cheaper dupes on the daily. Sadly, about 90% of them are for views only because trust me what’s being pushed isn’t a dupe. Several years ago I did a post about a Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow and how it wasn’t a dupe of some other cream shadow. It’s been so long I can’t even remember what it was being compared to but I remember saying no, it wasn’t and I caught a bit of heat from Reddit and Makeup Alley for expressing that.

Bethenny Frankel started a Tiktok several months ago and I gotta say she has a fresh, candid voice on beauty but unfortunately, I have to be a little critical of her. Every SINGLE drugstore product she tries is a dupe for something high-end. And it’s ok if she thinks it’s a dupe it’s just the level of excitement and the constant yelling about how, “IT’S EXACTLY THE SAME THING! EXACTLY!” No, it’s not. Come on. Be real. I may come across a snob but you can’t compare apples and oranges sometimes you know?
