All Your 16.9 oz Bottles of Pixi Glow Tonic Belong To Me!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’d like to share the wonderful news that Pixi Glow Tonic in the 16.9 oz zombie apocalypse size has arrived. Apparently, Pixi Glow Tonic 16.9 oz was offered around November during the Holidays but somehow, someway, I missed it. I think it’s an urban legend because I’ve only seen it on QVC UK. None the less, thanks to Linda this morning for emailing me to tell me it is now available on Pixi’s site. How long it’ll be around I haven’t a clue, apparently it’s for a short time and possibly today only? Let’s hope not. I did snag two bottles myself before it sells out or Pix decides to take it down (it’s limited-edition but hey, you can always refill it to make yourself feel better when it’s all gone!).

I’ve reviewed Pixi Glow Tonic in the past and I urge you to have a read. It’s quite a gentle glycolic acid that keeps my face smooth and soft. Be warning, it smells awful in my opinion (rosy, floral old lady fragrance)! But I’m willing to take on the scent for the great things it does for my skin.

Are you a fan of Pixi Glow Tonic?

Get your 16.9 oz bottle now at pixibeauty.com.

NETZ Spidersilk Luminessence An Example of Great Marketing

I don’t need a new fridge, stop trying to make me buy one Kristen Bell! And Tiny Fey, I certainly don’t need another AMEX card. Everyone is trying to sell you something be it on the Internet, on TV, or across social media. One of the worst offenders I’ve seen lately is Covergirl not so obviously trying to sell me makeup they allegedly use on Betty and Veronica in Riverdale. I’d just like to say that “allegedly” is very fitting because there is no way that Veronica and Cheryl Blossom look that put together from using Covergirl cosmetics. Sorry not sorry!

I’d also like to mention I feel terribly old watching Riverdale because I remember when Luke Perry and Skeet Ulrich were young and cute. Skeet Ulrich is 47? Where and when did that happen? And Luke Perry is 50? What? How? Who?

Now, I’m old enough to mentally role my eyes at bad product placement and over marketing. Maybe I’m jaded because I blog but marketing can be grossly exaggerated across social media not to mention on TV, etc…

But, of course, I’m a fan girl first and foremost. So, when I recently saw Mike Angelo post a pic with a big old tube of NETZ Spidersilk Luminessence (or it could be his brother, I can never tell the two apart but it did appear on his Instagram but his brother is the one endorsing NETZ at the moment! Who knows….!) I was all like, “WHAT ARE THIS?”

I mean are you seeing how crazy awesome that texture is?

Too Faced Glitter Bomb Gifts You Eight Glittery Shades for Eyes

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Too Faced Glitter Bomb Eyeshadow Palette is on the way for Summer 2017. Wait, can we have a second to finish up how we feel about the Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette first? No? Ok, moving on I guess.

Update: This is available today at Sephora.com.
I swear things move way to fast in the makeup world lately.

As we head into Summer, Too Faced goes glittery with this new eyeshadow palette that contains a darkening and a brightening base shade as well as eight glittery eyeshadow shades. Although, I have to admit a quick look at this photo and they don’t look too glittery disco ball like thankfully. But you can never tell when it comes to Insta-photos! For a brief moment, the entire palette reminded me of Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadow Palette. Glittery metallics, shimmers, and bright shades seem to be trending for Summer looks and it’s probably a relief to many people who are tired of the endless nude eye looks and heavily contoured and highlighted faces we’ve been seeing lately from many brands.

See the palette below!

These Two J.One Skincare Products Need to Come Home With Me

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I have my little eye on J.One Jelly Cream and J.One Black Jelly Pack because I suddenly I started using J.One Jelly Pack a few months ago and it’s became my go to Gloria Swanson facial primer.

There may be moments after application where I stare into the mirror, with my head tilted back, and I mutter to myself, “Alright, Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close-up…” Seriously, J.One Jelly Pack is like what sellotape is to Hollywood. It’s like instant lift glue in a bottle. It’s tacky, sticky, and takes some getting used to but it literally smooths and firms skin in a rather dramatic way. At first I hated it but I’m gotten used to it over time and I actually really like it. If you apply it correctly it’ll give skin an instant lift and makes it quite smooth. I wouldn’t say I have a loss of elasticity yet but I feel like I’m developing marionette lines and this makes the skin around my mouth look so much more lifted and smoother. If you are experiencing loss of elasticity this is an excellent primer to pick up!

Anyway, that’s the reason I want to try the J.One Jelly Cream and J.One Black Jelly Pack!
