Makeup to Purchase During the Sephora Sale

I’m pretty surprised that my makeup list for the Sephora sale is so tiny as the bulk of my wish list includes more fragrance and skincare. How about you? Are you hauling more makeup? More skincare? Fragrance? A little of everything?

Here’s a few items I have on my list (and a few recommendations as well)!

Marc Jacobs Beauty O! Mega Gel Powder Eyeshadow ($23 after discount) just recently launched and I have my eye on the shade Daddi-O! a matte brown which reminded me of my beloved Urban Decay Beware. The reviews are great on these so far so I’m going to bite the bullet and grab one or two!

I wish I waited one these to grab them on sale but now is a good time to grab the Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow ($23 after discount). These are a gorgeous sparkly shadow and will fit right in with the metallic sparkle trend upcoming for Fall.

I hauled the Natasha Denona Camel Eyeshadow Palette ($38 after discount) at full price but it sure becomes a lot sweeter after the discount and has a range of gorgeous nudes that should please lovers of naked looks!

Becca x Chrissy Teigen Endless Bronze & Glow ($30 after discount) is another item I wish I had waited on. Not that it isn’t gorgeous, it is, but that 20% off makes things sweeter. I realize Summer is nearing an end but this is totally worth picking up regardless. It gives my skin such a pretty warm peachy glow!

I reviewed the Stila Vivid & Vibrant Eye Shadow Duo ($16 after discount) last week and I LOVE these. Such a great formula with a soft, velvety texture and beautiful sparkle! These are well worth picking up for Fall looks!

Dominique Cosmetics just launched at Sephora and I have three of the Lemonade Lip Glosses in my cart at the moment ($13 after discount). They feel really Summer-y but I was hoping for a nice nude look for Fall. Anyone try these?

Review is on the way but so far the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer ($17) is turning out well. This is quite a creamy and hydrating formula so if you have drier eyes like me check this one out!

Speaking of concealers the new Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil Full Coverage Concealer Fluid ($22) caught my eye! I’m going to check that one out for sure. This is apparently full coverage and contains argan oil! My ears perked up at argan oil as I’m hoping for a good moisturizing formula!

    Thanks for this! I apparently didn’t get anything in the mail like I usually do for upcoming sales so this is a surprise. Now, how to balance a sale purchase and pay upcoming bills…

    Thanks, esp. the concealers. Which Bendy did you get, and how did the color run? Real yellow/warm? It’s not in stores to look in my area. So it’s either in my one time online or not til later. And I hate to goof. If it’s my mistake, I give it away and do not return. The online pix made it look as if it ran dark. Theor-Haul:MUFE pencils, that’s about it. I’m more about the s/c and fragrance this time, too.

    Hey Muse! I’m so sorry if you already posted this, but I thought I would just mention that the online code is only good ONE time. However, you can use it in store as much as you want. Or have them place an online order in-store for you, and that won’t count as using the code in case you see something else you want after using it online.

    And thank you for your recommendations! You’ve definitely helped my lists! 😉

    Strange. L’avocat in French means lawyer, as well as avocado. As in advocate. Better cruise S online some more. Getting distracted by irrelevancies.

    Wow, thanks Tay for that reminder about one use only! I’ll be sure I include everything on my list in my order, despite sticker shock! I’m going mostly for hair care products, like Alterna and Ouai since I go through them like crazy and figure now is a good time to stock up. Might have to head back to Sephora website to see if I want to add Kevin Aucoin tubing mascara, since mine is almost gone. And then there’s that Dior Lip maximizer… Ugh, I’ll be broke by tomorrow 🙂

    Hi Muse, i am going to pick up some of the Marc Jacobs eyeshadows too,and probably the Natasha Denona palette. The only thing is I didn’t get any cards in the mail or emails about the sale, do you know if I need something from the mail or email in order to get the discount in the store? Thank you.

      I didn’t either. They were supposed sending out emails but I didn’t get anything! nor did I get a card in the mail! If you head in store though they’ll likely give you the discount! Not sure how they dropped the ball! Unless they are sending out today!? My pleasure dear <3!

        In previous times I have gotten the card in the mail and showed it at the register and they said, oh, you don’t need that, so maybe they did away with them, dunno.
        So crushed on the Urban Decay Naked being discontinued! It just brings back so many memories. I’m going to try to get a couple if they’re still available. I wonder if the sale will be in stores as well and am going later to shop and will see.
