Hot New Lipsticks, Lipglosses, and Lip Treatments for Spring/Summer 2019

Good Morning! Time to explore some hot new lipsticks, lipglosses, and lip treatments for Spring/Summer 2019. And there are plenty of them to choose from and thankfully a lot of them are glossy! Maybe now that Winter is behind us we can just stop with all those tired, dry mattes and embrace some juicy, shiny color for Spring/Summer looks. Hey, I’m ever hopeful it’ll be a trend that catches on fire and is as long lasting as the matte lipstick one!

So far, I’ve run across some great glossy lip shades to add to my warmer weather arsenal like Lipstick Queens new Rear View Mirror Lip Lacquer, NYX Candy Slick Glowy Lip Color, Essence Insta-Care Lipstick (a mere $3.49!), and Charlotte Tilbury Latex Love Long-Lasting Lip Gloss (doesn’t taste great but looks amazing on!). But I’m hoping to grab some more shiny lipsticks this season!

Here’s a few new lipsticks, lipglosses, and lip treatments that caught my eye!

Ulta Sheer Lipstick $8.50
Ulta obviously heard my call for hydrating lipsticks! Their new line of sheer lipsticks offers a sheer hint of color with a satin finish but easily builds for more pops and give lips a soft, hydrating finish in a weightless formula!

Flesh Hot Sauce Lip Gloss $18
Up until now Revlon’s higher-end Flesh brand hasn’t been a huge hit with makeup brands but they caught my interest with their new high-shine lipgloss that promises a non-sticky texture and plenty of pigment!

Ulta Peach Tinted Lip Balm $5
Not a big fan of color or too much gunk on your lips? Ulta new lip balm provides a sheer hint of peachy color with a juicy peachy flavor.

Love Lipstick Queen’s Medieval Lipstick? Well, now there’s a gloss version!

Stila Beauty Boss Lip Gloss $15
Stila’s latest intensely shiny lipgloss has plenty of pigment and light refracting, iridescent pearls that create even more glossiness!

Sephora #LIPSTORIES Destinations $8
Sephora’s cheap little #Lipstories Lipstick Collection gets a limited edition Summer 2019 release with a selection of eight new shades that will take you across the USA and Canada from New York to to Texas and beyond. These cheap as chip little lipstick pack a pigmented punch!

ILIA Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment $32
For the multitaskers out there that want to use their lip color as a blush or their blush as a lip color there’s the new Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment from ILIA that gives cheeks or lips a soft wash of color!

Bite Beauty Outburst Longwear Lip Stain $24
If bolder lips looks are your thing this new lip stain from Bite Beauty that’s infused with passionflower, coconut oil, and sunflower seed oil give lips a bold, rich color pay off while remaining waterproof for long-wear without drying lips out!

Sephora Rouge Lacquer $13
Let’s not forget Sephora’s super affordable $13 lipstick which has a shiny finish and a host of great shades to choose from!

Tom Ford Lip Spark Sequin Lipstick $55
Are there people alive in the makeup world who don’t love a sparkly lipstick? Tom Ford’s new line gives lips color with a loose glitter effect that sparkles like diamonds!

Muse, any idea what the bottom color of the Sephora Rouge Lacquers is? I really like it, but have no idea which one on the site it might be.

Muse, did you happen to try the Ulta Sheer lipsticks yet? Was just curious if you liked them and how they feel, etc.

Not yet! on my list! If I get some will review! They seem nice!

OMG, those TF lipsticks! *swoon* Hopefully, they are at Sephora in time for the Spring Sale (or not, my wallet won’t complain!)

I wanted something different and so I bought the Dior Addict Stellar Shine in D-Sparkle (an Easter treat for myself).

      • Frozendiva

I will be returning it today to see if I can exchange it for another. When I opened it yesterday, the tube part fell out of the holder. Don’t know if it’s how it is supposed to be or just a defective one.

I exchanged it. The sales associate noticed the issue. I certainly didn’t do anything to the lipstick. Pulled it out of its box yesterday evening, tried testing it, and had the silver tube fall out. If it was a $10 lipstick, I probably wouldn’t care, but I do expect a product that works for $46 CAD. Only the second time in probably 20 years that I have returned a product – last time was an Estee Lauder lipstick that had somehow melted. I was baffled as I certainly didn’t have it in any sort of heat that would have melted the product. I am assuming it’s one of these one in million events.

oh no 🙁 Well thank goodness for good returns!

Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment from ILIA caught my eye. I’m really into the monochromatic thing lately. I have some of the Fenty Shimmer Sticks that I like to use on my eyes, lips, and cheeks, and this seems like I could do a similar thing. Sigh….so much makeup, so little money!

Lancome L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine lipsticks are just lovely. Definitely will try a few.

Wow, I like those Sephora Lipstories. I hope to see them in reviews and worn by people. I like the Vegas one (one of my fave cities) but wonder if it would be too much for my skintone.
