5 stars out of 5

Benefit Starlaa Wanderful World Silky-Soft Powder Blush is one of several shades of blushes that launched for Summer 2022 that became a permanent part of the Benefit Box o’ Powder Blush Collection. A lot of Benefit’s older blushes are long gone and the Wanderful World Blush Collection seems to be the more permanent range of blushes they are keeping on. Last Summer, I purchased every single shade when I got them on sale and I was quite content and happy with every shade I got. But…

Starlaa Wanderful World Blush was a no-show. She never launched the original 11 shades back in June 2022! Don’t quote me but it was a good month or two before she finally popped up and at that point, I sort of forgot about her and was on to Fall 2022 Collections. Several months did go by before I finally hauled her and got a nice deal on her too by the way! And here we are headed back into the warmer weather and she’s a perfect addition to my wardrobe during this season.

Considering Benefit Friends and Family is on at the moment I thought I’d review her (Get 30% off with free shipping using code MUSINGS30).

When I originally got my hands on the Pom Pom Wanderful World Blush I was positive it would be a Dallas dupe but it wasn’t. Later on, I thought perhaps Staarla was the Dallas dupe and I can see it being sort of in the same family but Staarla doesn’t have the rosiness Dallas did and instead has more of a peachy element.

I keep saying, “This is my favorite Benefit Wanderful Blush” but they are all so wonderful I can’t help it. But yeah, Starlaa Wanderful World Silky-Soft Powder Blush is quickly turning into a favorite. This is warm brownish peach and people, don’t limit yourself when you use it. I use this on my cheeks, I use it on my eyes, and I use it buffed around the outer corners of my eyes and into my upper cheek bones for some added warmth before applying a brighter blush. I love it. It’s warm, it’s peachy, it’s that “I just came in from the beach and let’s get ready to go out for the evening” blush shade. It’s sunkissed in a box. The finish is a silky, satiny one that doesn’t adhere to drier areas and wears a solid eight to nine hours on my dry skin!

Benefit Starlaa Wanderful World Silky-Soft Powder Blush is 0.21 oz in size and $29. Although it appears smaller in size this blush is bigger than more recent releases like Galifornia as well as cheaper (Galifornia is $30 for 0.17 oz in size). The packaging is a bit lighter though compared to the old blushes and it doesn’t have a burhs just a mirror. I do love the fact the lid is attached as some of the older Benefit Blushes had removable lids which when I’m rushing alone doing my morning routine I sometimes misplace. I kind of dig it’s attached now!

Benefit churned out some bangers with the Wanderful World Silky-Soft Powder Blush Collection and Starlaa is one. If you loved Dallas I’d highly recommend Starlaa! She isn’t a dupe by any means but she is in the same family if you’re looking to add warmth, color, and the sun to your face!

I bought Staarla during the 50% sale through target (she’s a very popular shade I guess? Because she’s was sold out on Sephora and Ulta) and the color is so beautiful but she’s definitely SOFT.
The blush I ordered was broken into pieces and the replacement that was sent to me was broken so bad it was straight up powder.

I miss the brush but can’t wait to try other shades. So funny how you posted this and I just re-pressed the broken blush a couple of days ago so I could use it.

Same for me but with the shade Butterfly. Got it shipped twice broken 🙁 I was so sad! I miss the brush too but also, I sort of never used it and ended up using my own so perhaps it isn’t such a big deal for me 😉

I keep hoping for a dupe for the original Dallas. LOVED that one and was sad when I finally had to chuck mine out since I had it for such a long time. Will definitely give this a try!
