Mark those calendars because Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush is about to drop. Rare Beauty has a new reel stating these new blushes combine their most popular formula, Soft Pinch Liquid Blush with their gorgeous Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter to create a new hybrid blush formula that will have touch your cheeks with color and a gorgeous glow!
Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter launched back in 2022 and recently they launched two new shades called Reveal and Reflect. I always thought the highlighters resembled Kaja Mochi Glow Bouncy Highlighter and now the new Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush are totally giving me Kaja Mochi Pop Bouncy Cream-to-Powder Compact Blush vibes. I absolutely love the Kaja ones! They give the most beautiful glow and I’m REALLY, really excited for the Rare Beauty Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes but can I just say they have such a miss opportunity on their hands with this launch. But before we get into that we have to answer the important questions. When are Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush being released? Reports are saying this month but I have my doubts. I’d say probably in April. How much will Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush cost? We don’t have that info yet either but I suspect around the same price as the highlighter at $25 but I’m guessing a touch more at perhaps $27-$30.
The blushes are available in five shades called:
- Truth
- Joy
- Hope
- Happy
- Cheer
The shades I’ve seen are such a missed opportunity to do more with this formula. I would kill for a gorgeous golden peach or coral but we’re getting two pinks, two bronzer-like shades and more of a warmer cranberry shade. Man, if they did a Melt Cosmetics Genesis Digital Dust-like shade you probably wouldn’t be able to stop me from buying like ten pots of this stuff. I’ll absolutely try these but I just wish the shade range was a smidge better.
