It’s everyone’s favorite time of the day! Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Summer 2024 is around the corner and all we can do is pray it doesn’t suck and we can all be honest and say it has as of late. That being said, I look forward to their exclusives; we have some coming back from past collections this year. When is the Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Summer 2024 happening? Early access starts May 31st for Loyalty Members (sign up now for a free account if you don’t have one) at 6PM! Or if you’re patient the sale starts online at bathandbodyworks.com on June 1st and in stores as well. If you aren’t shopping right away no worries the sale lasts all month long and Bath and Body Works has changed how they do the sale which means they rotate what’s on sale weekly or even daily. As always you can expect savings up to 75% on a variety of items including candles, fragrance mists, shower gels, body lotions, and more.

And hey, if you wait even longer the deals get deeper! I remember last year around the first week of July they had a good deal of leftover fragrance mists and other items that were marked down to $3-4 bucks! The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese sometimes!

As I said above Bath and Body Works has changed the format of the sale. Long gone are the days when you’d dig through bins and bins of items from past collections, seasonal limited-edition picks, etc…! In my opinion, the sale is a bit more calculated nowadays. And many of the items offered are repetitive and aren’t a huge discount.

I think the big draw of the sale, especially for me, is the exclusives they do. We’ll see some returning exclusives from last year like Strawberry Soda, Fruity Sherbet Scoop, and Whipped Coconut Milkshake. Sadly, I do think this is what they may stick with when it comes to exclusives. That’s rather sad as I already own backups of the ones I love like Strawberry Soda. But it does give fans of it a chance to re-stock up or for those that never grabbed it you’ll now have your chance. I wish they would bring back Cinnamon Swirl Donut or better yet re-introduce it and DO a fragrance mist of it. Even if Cinnamon Swirl Donut doesn’t make the cut we will see returning favorites like Paris Amour and Cotton Candy Clouds aka Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds. There’ll also be a few new exclusive candles and hand soups!

Don’t forget to stash away your coupons if you have any that aren’t set to expire as you can use them during the sale for extra savings. How much can you expect to save during the sale? Well, it’s up for debate because they do weekly and even daily deals on a variety of items. But typically you can expect 3-Wick Candles as low as $9, Hand Soaps and Wallflowers at around $3, Body Lotions as low as $3-$5, and other cool deals. And don’t forget to be patient because there are days free shipping or even dollar shipping is offered if you decide to shop online. If you’re shopping early on during the sale don’t forget Bath and Body Works does offer price adjustments. If you purchase something for $5 and it ends up dropping to $3 they will offer a price adjustment within 14 days of your purchase.

I doubt I’ll shop the sale this year just because there isn’t anything new I don’t already have backups of (for example, Strawberry Soda and Cotton Candy Clouds). But you never know, something may fall into my cart. Do you think you’ll shop the Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale?

If I also had coupons I might be tempted to shop the sale. But, I haven’t been sent mailer coupons in ages and I don’t seem to get coupons in the their app either. I was a regular shopper and didn’t make returns, so who knows why I am not deemed coupon worthy anymore.

weird! You do have to shop and be signed into the app to score their rewards/coupons. I know I don’t get mailers much either anymore but I think that’s because I haven’t shopped in store in a while. The more you shop the more they send mailers out.

Good point and maybe that’s it. I switched to online shopping mostly. But, I still used to coupon codes I’d get online. There’s a new store opening close by, so I should shop in store a few times and see what happens.

same here as I hate how aggressive they are in store. I never really got many online codes but when I was shopping in store I’d get mailers every week! Do you have the app? It earns you points for free items and they can be redeemed in bulk which is cool!

I’m not even a little tempted this year. This sale used to be everything! Just not that great anymore.

there’s like maybe five things that caught my eye but nothing that I absolutely need!

I’m so excited to have gotten the leaves body spray in June and a Tis the season candle! Muse I used to read your blog early on in 2008/9 and it’s been so fun getting into cosmetics again and reading a bunch of your old posts. Seeing the products you reviewed from that time brought back so many nice memories for me. I’m looking forward to being a regular reader here again.

Oh! I noticed they had Tis the Season available (and some leftover peppermint twist stuff). Aww thanks so much Emily! Good to have you back 🙂 It’s nice taking a break from beauty sometimes only to rediscover the joy of it later 🙂 Welcome back!
