Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Foundation with 10% Off

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It is time my makeup loving friends! Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Foundation, primer and powder has launched today and is available at patmcgrath.com. Use the password SUBLIME10 for early access. SUBLIME10 will also get you 10% Off your order!

This is one of the most hottest and sought after releases of the Summer I think. There’s so much buzz surrounding it I do wonder if it can possibly live up to all the hype!

The weightless, medium coverage foundation is available in 36 shades and promises buildable yet lightweight coverage with a Vita-Serum Complex designed to help fight wrinkles while safeguarding the skin’s barrier with a blend of hyaluronic acid and ceramides.

It doesn’t come cheap sadly. Shades are $68 each! Ouch! But if it is as good as promises perhaps we won’t mind the price too much!

Along, with the foundation there’s a new Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Primer ($60) a facial primer that primes, smoothes, hydrates and renews with a sublime silken effect that instantly turns back time on your complexion by preventing moisture loss.

And to set the new Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Powder ($55) which is luxurious, silky soft and super-blendable powder with a lighter-than-air proprietary Flex Form Matrix powder blend gives a barely-there feel with soft-focus effects that visibly blur fine lines and imperfections.

For those who truly need the entire system get the primer, foundation, and powder in a $150 gift set.

Enjoy!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Much to my delight a small portion of Nabla Cosmetics is now available at ulta.com. I’ve been wanting to tr Nabla for a while now but never took the plunge! The concealer is one item I’ve had on my wish list for ages! Sadly, it isn’t yet available at Ulta but I sure hope that changes!

I’ve heard a lot of great things about this indie brand and I’m excited to see it being added to Ulta’s every expanding list of makeup brands!

Have you tried Nabla?

Atelier Cologne Pacific Lime Cologne Absolue Evoking Memories of Europe

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

Atelier Cologne Pacific Lime Cologne Absolue Pure Perfume ($28 to $135) launched a few short months ago and I ended up blind purchasing it because I was too impatient to wait for it to hit stores for a sniffle. It was a safe blind buy because I haven’t met an Atelier Cologne I didn’t like.

I had some hopes it would be a Tom Ford Azure Lime dupe but I knew that it would likely be a more herbal, earthy lime scent. With notes of lime, coconut, and eucalyptus it was far off from the masculinity of Azure Lime. The fresh, fruity notes and the promise of a “tropical burst” of lime drew me in but it wasn’t exactly what I expected.

However, it was a pleasant surprise that evoked good memories of my childhood summers spent in Europe with my family.

When I was a kid and well into my teen years my dad, who was always self-employed, would pack up my mom, my sister, and I and we’d fly to Portugal for nearly the entire Summer. We had a home by the beach in Viana do Castelo but it was about 40 minutes away from my father’s birth place, Arcos de Valdevez, and where my grandparents lived as well as many of my cousins. We made a drive there practically everyday because my grandmother wanted us to have lunch with her and my grandfather everyday, like EVERYDAY. I remember how she catered to me and my sister! Trying to buy us stuff we’d eat because we were picky American eaters that didn’t like most of what was on offer. Most of my time wasn’t spent at the beach even though it was like two steps away from my door! My time was spent with my cousins swimming our days away in a river in the heart of the village of Arcos.
