I complain a lot of eyeshadow palettes and the fact they are released like every other day but I have to admit they are still my favorite makeup item to pick up. There’s just something terribly appealing about an eyeshadow palette with 12 or more shades. Sometimes more or less lately with me. I can be perfectly happy using a single eyeshadow in a look! Minimal just seems to be the order of business sometimes. But I never ever get tired of hauling a new eyeshadow palette. There’s something so magical about having all those colors in one spot. I think it’s because it reminds me of those big boxes of crayola crayons as a kid. You know the 64 pack, with the crummy sharpener on the back that never worked! Man, I was gaga over that box of crayons. At Christmas I’d get the bigger tins that included 100 shades or more. I really, truly believe that crayons totally what made me love eyeshadow palettes.

Did you kind of sort have a mental image of me dashing around in a sleigh with Lush Rudolph Jelly Face Mask on thanks to that title? I did. Totally had the image flash through mind and really, it isn’t hard to see me doing something as crazy as dashing around with a face mask or a sheet mask on in six feet of snow. Stranger things have happened right?

I finally decided to take the plunge and haul some Lush Rudolph Jelly Face Mask against my better judgement. You see, I hate Lush Shower Jellies and the fact this was a jelly mask had me all, “No, No, No!” Shower Jelly always ends up the drain! I just can’t with that formula so I assumed the jelly masks would be the same. This is mask returns from Lush Holiday’s past but it is limited edition and available for the Holiday season only which is a shame if you become attached to it!

Not the case! This formula is actually pretty awesome but the ingredients are not.

It feels like the countdown to Christmas has begun! It’s an exiting time, a fun one, but also, a really stressful one when you’re to find that perfect gift. Pre-Holiday shopping I admit I do treat myself to a pretty makeup bauble or two at Sephora. I feel like a little retail therapy on myself always makes shopping for others a little less stressful. As soon as November 1st rolls around I’ll start hunting out presents for my sister and soon after the rest of my family and friends.

In preparation for the busy season ahead I decided to treat myself to a few things I wanted that popped up at Sephora. Something for me, not something that I needed to purchase and blog about but something I wanted for myself. Those purchases always seem a little rare as the first thing entering my mind when I see something new pop up in the world of beauty is, “Do my readers want to hear a review about this?” Asking myself if I want it for me and only me comes much later down the line.

Of course, with the responsibility of sharing this little haul I also expect all of you to tell me just what it is you’ve treated yourself to recently! And give me a heads up about what’s on your Sephora Holiday Event wish list!
