Guerlain Goldenland for Holiday 2019 Brings a Stunning New Eyeshadow Palette

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

How much are you loving the new Guerlain Goldenland Eyeshadow Palette ($80) that’s launching with the Guerlain Holiday 2019 Collection. Ugh! I need it. It’s been a while since I lusted after any Guerlain seasonal launches but something about the soft golds and khakis in this palette are making me want it. As I get older I appreciate really soft, pretty shades like this. It’s not in your face but the shades look like they’ll create some very beautiful looks. You get ten eyeshadows that are matte, metallic, and iridescent in finish. The shades range form golds to warm browns, neutrals, and a few touches of khaki.

Shades:

  • Smokey Brown (matte)
  • Rose Gold (metallic)
  • Khaki Green (matte)
  • Gold (metallic)
  • Pink Taupe (matte)
  • Soft Yellow Gold (iridescent)
  • Deep Dark Grey (matte)
  • Vintage Gold (metallic)
  • Nude Beige (matte)
  • White (iridescent)

I think it’ll sell out rather fast so I better hurry and make up my mind if I want it or not when it does launch!

Jump ahead for other pieces from the Guerlain Goldenland Holiday 2019 Collection!

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette is Available Today Will You Haul Her?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette is the first Huda Eyeshadow Palette I feel like I don’t need! Gasp! I know right? Right now there are millions of people cheering that finally we are getting a cooler eyeshadow palette! But I’m sort of sobbing it’s not warmer. Not that I need another warm palette but I do like Huda’s eyeshadows. This palette does actually have cooler and warmer shades but I think it leans towards being more cooler and some of the pastels just won’t work for me.

The combo of shades is gorgeous though with pinks, golds, purple, berries, and some nice neutral shades. There are nine mattes here, one glitter powder, and the rest of the shades are metallics.

Shades:

  • Cosmic
  • Utopia
  • Ultraviolet
  • Nebula
  • Mercury
  • Haze
  • Off Balance
  • Galaxy
  • Libra
  • Crash
  • Momentum
  • Supermoon
  • Vortex
  • Hot Mess
  • Supernova
  • Karma
  • Gold Glitch
  • Frazzled

I think it kind of feels very Spring-like to me! But as Christmas is almost over in the makeup world and Spring is about to pop that does make sense. Believe me, as soon as September we’ll be hearing about Spring 2020 Collections. Ugh.

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette is $67 and available now at Sephora.

Palmer’s Coconut Monoi Facial Cleansing Balm Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
3 stars out of 5

Palmer’s Coconut Monoi Facial Cleansing Balm ($7.99) is a new, natural oil-based solid cleansing balm that’s launching now at drugstores. I picked this up at Harmon’s and I was quite excited to try it as I really love Palmer’s Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil.

Palmer’s actually been pretty busy launching a slew of different facial skincare including a new hydrating facial mask, scrub, and other goodies. I was a little worried about the fact this contained coconut oil. For some reason coconut is hit or miss with my skin. Sometimes I’m fine with it other times it matches me itchy! Thankfully enough I experience no issues using it but it does contain quite few different oils which may or may not be a hit for oily skin types! There’s coconut oil here as well as monoi, almond, and extra virgin olive oil. It’s a lot of oil 🙂 And even though it rinses clean away I think it would work best for drier skin.

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Nourishing Lipstick Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Nourishing Lipstick ($7) range of hydrating shea butter lipsticks that recently launched in six shade selections. Since the introduction of Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Lip Cream I trust the brand with my lipstick life completely. Those lip creams are some of my favorite lip colors!

As you know from my recent post this was one of the items I picked up from Walmart. Within the last few days its actually become a go to for me because I do so love a good hydrating lip color and this one feels quite nice on my dry lips and packs plenty of pigment.

Take a look!
