Sephora Pro Palette Vault Seems Late But It’s Here Now for Spring 2019

Umm aren’t vaults more a Holiday thing? Sephora Pro Palette Vault launched today for Spring 2019 but not sure how many people, right now, are willing to dish out $150 for it considering we just got off the Holiday roller coaster and are likely trying to save some pennies before making our next big haul!

The Sephora Pro Palette Vault seems like it would have made a most excellent Holiday 2018 launch in my humble opinion but here we are and here it is and I’m left to wonder who wants it?

This vault brings together three of Sephora’s Pro Eyeshadow Palettes in New Nudes, Smoky Jewels, and Editorial 2.0 as well as two Sephora Pro Brushes (Pro Tapered Crease #19 and Pro Small Shadow Brush #15) for application.

I’m sure someone is out there thinking, “I need this in my life right now!” it’s just not me at the moment.

What do you think of the Sephora Pro Palette Vault?

Better later than never?

Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Eye Serum Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
3 stars out of 5

Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Eye Serum ($20) is a new hydrating eye serum that contains hyaluronic acid that acts to hydrate the delicate area of the eye helping it to retain moisture. This launched at Ulta a few weeks ago and I hauled around Thanksgiving and I’ve been using it daily since (I’m almost completely down with it at this point) my purchase. I decided it was about time to share review and thoughts on it as it is an interesting product with some quirks.

Let’s take a look!

Milani Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

Milani Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick ($6.99) is a new collection of matte lipsticks that launched for Spring 2019 that contains Monoi oil for a creamy, hydrating formula. Milani already has a selection of Color Statement Matte Lipsticks which makes me question whether we need another 17 shades but I was game to give the new Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick formula a whirl.

Here’s my thoughts!

The Ordinary is Back at Sephora

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The Ordinary is back at Sephora today! I was expecting some news of The Ordinary finally launching at Ulta but surprise, surprise it’s back and in stock at sephora.com! Brandon is still practicing his special brand of weird on Instagram but it’s under his personal account now and the reins of Deciem have been handed over to Nicola Kilner. Brandon was fired in October and boy, did that take a hot minute to happen after all his drama and antics across social media particularly Instagram.

The final straw was an Instagram post that Brandon made about shutting down all operations indefinitely and Estee Lauder, who owns 28% of Deciem, wasn’t having any of it and filed a lawsuit against him which they won.

Nicole Kilner has her own drama with Brandon as she was fired by him last year and later re-hired. It’s been a whirlwind year for Deciem! Hopefully 2019, is a good one for them! At least their reintroduction to Sephora will have a lot of people very, very happy.
