Guerlain KissKiss Creamy Satin Finish Lipstick Celebrates Summer More Towards Fall

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

We might be headed into Fall 2018 trends but Guerlain KissKiss Creamy Satin Finish Lipstick is all about Summer in my opinion! The bright pinks, oranges, and reds reminded me of the Lipstick Queen The Dating Game shades that launched a few short months ago that I’m wearing below.

The collection of lipsticks is available in five shades selections that contain hyaluronic acid spheres to plump and hydrate lips and a creamy, satiny finish that wears comfortably.

Shades:

  • Rouge Kiss (bright red)
  • Sugar Kiss (coral pink)
  • Sexy Coral (bright coral)
  • Excessive Rose (bright fuchsia)
  • Darling Baby (pearly pink)

I dunno about you but I typically reach for more autumn-themed shades for Fall lips. Oranges, brown tones, I like to wear shades that remind me of the Fall leaves. Guerlain went very fresh with these shades and they remind me more of a Spring or a Summer launch. None the less I see a few that are demanding my attention! But the Dating Game Lipsticks are a heck of a lot cheaper 😉

The Ordinary No Longer at Beautylish?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Brandon is on a rampage again apparently because the Ordinary is waving bye-bye to Beautylish allegedly according to e-mails that were posted on the Ordinary’s Instagram account this week. As you know the Ordinary was in and out of Sephora in the flash. No one really knows why exactly the Ordinary disappeared from Sephora so quickly. Was it Brandon’s doing? Was it Sephora who decided to cut ties? Who knows….!

Now they are apparently leaving Beautylish or as the Ordinary’s account posted they are divorcing from Beautylish due to some sort of “extreme disrespect by Nils”. Nils Johnson is the co-founder of Beautylish. I’ve always had amazing customer service with Beautylish and I’ve always felt higher-end department stores as well as stores like Sephora and Ulta can learn a lot from them in regards to customer service, shipping time, etc….I’m not sure how they handle things with brands but I picture it being with the same of professionalism they treat their customers and knowing the Ordinary’s track record I have to say I’m Team Beautylish.

As reported In May, this might mean The Ordinary is coming to Ulta but with things the way they are the at the moment maybe Ulta is best to stay out of the situation completely!

Either way, it feels like the Ordinary is headed for some sort of major crash down the line with all the ties they have been breaking and bridges they are burning through.

What do you think?

Best get your Ordinary fix before it disappears off the face of the planet. Ironically enough I just did an Ordinary haul recently!

Urban Decay Available at QVC

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Urban Decay Go Naked Perfume Oil

Urban Decay is now available at QVC which completely boggles my mind. I dunno why but I was sort of surprised to see this but looking at it from a business point it makes complete sense. You see, some beauty brands are starting to run out of fan resources. They have pretty much dominated all forms of social media and have gathered huge followings via these platforms. At this point they may have even tired out some of their fans on these platforms so the next logical step is to move to a new outlet. That outlet being QVC.

Many of you already shop QVC and you’re fans of Urban Decay already but I think QVC has a fan base that hasn’t yet discovered the brand or maybe never tried it and this offers a new point of sale realm for Urban Decay in my opinion.

This also offers an entirely other realm for fans of the brand as perhaps they’ll be great sets that are offered as a Today’s Special Value or easy pay options (that I fondly call beauty mortgages) which allow you to pay for purchases over time.

Too Faced has long since been a brand offered on the Home Shopping Network but this is the first time Urban Decay has ventured into this world. I’m curious to see how they’ll do.

What do you think of Urban Decay becoming available at QVC?
