Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer review swatches

I think it’s about time to review Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer since today it officially launched and all the ravings are in and of course, I have to weight in on this formula for myself as I’m the self-proclaimed queen of all concealers.

Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is a full-coverage, don’t take that claim lately, it’s very full coverage, weightless, hydrating formula that acts to conceal, contour, and highlight that’s available in 20 shades which promises a 12 hour wear. I haven’t personally tried the new Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Foundation but I am a massive fan of the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer (and considering the ingredients are almost exactly the same I never felt inclined to give the foundation a try) and most reviews I’ve read are comparing the Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer to Tarte’s formula. It’s understandable as they do sound and look quite alike however, Too Faced is $29 for .05 oz where as Tarte is $39 for 1.01 oz but the chubby barrel packaging, oversized applicator, and full coverage promises are pretty much identical to each other. However, where as Tarte offers a matte and hydrating version of their coverage Too Faced only offers a hydrating formula.

At the risk of sounding terribly old I have to admit that Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer does come across as Instagram makeup to me. I mean, ok, there are a good deal of high-coverage foundations around but after watching reviews of people slathering this stuff on their face under really bright lighting I was pretty much horrified and thinking, “Ok, this is Instagram makeup!”

I’ve literally watched people apply this directly to their face with the applicator and in my experience with the product you really can’t do that.

Let’s jump ahead and see some swatches and more of my review.

Too Faced Melted Matte-Tallic Liquified Lipstick Launched Today and I See Two Shades I Must Have

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Lucky enough the Too Faced Melted Matte-Tallic Liquified Lipstick launched at Ulta.com today and I still haven’t used my 20% Off Ulta coupon and I see at least two shades I must have! See? It pays to wait on using the code!

Let me say I don’t like metallic lipglosses as well know but how gorgeous are Our Lips Are Sealed and Breakup, Makeup? If someone could make a cream, liquid, or powder blush in those shades I’d totally buy them!

Our Lips Are Sealed is a stunning metallic peachy coral that looks even nicer than the NARS Orgasm Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer. Ugh I need it! Breakup, Makeup is a is equally beautiful! It’s a really pretty metallic dusky rose. Looks like it would pair up great with the Stila Beauty Junkie Glitter & Glow Eyeshadow I just reviewed!

Becca x Chrissy Teigen Endless Bronze & Glow, Glow Lipgloss, and Glow Body Oil Available Now

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Becca x Chrissy Teigen Endless Bronze & Glow, Glow Lipgloss, and Glow Body Oil launched today! This is Chrissy’s second collaboration with Becca her first being the Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette that launched last May. Damn has it really been a year since that palette was released? And I still love it so hard to this day which is why I’m quite curious to grab up the Endless Bronze & Glow ($38) which is a limited-edition bronzer and highlighter that contains Sunlit bronzer along with two shades of Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Beach Nector and Moonstone. It looks like a perfect swirl, buff, glow, go compact. You know me, I’m not much of a highlighter or bronzer fan but I really enjoy Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter and already own a few shades so adding this to my collection is a no brainer.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion Sunscreen SPF 50 Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion Sunscreen SPF 50 ($9.99) is a new gel broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen that promises a waterproof sun protection with an oil-free formula that won’t clog pores.

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost launched back in 2017 with a selection of hydrating makeup like Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint and Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer. Around that same time a Hydro Boost Skincare Collection so it was only a matte of time that the brand also added sunscreens the the Hydro Boost Collection.

Most people are comparing this formula to Japanese sunscreens and I sort of get it but I do think the Japanese still have a head up on SPF and this isn’t quite what you’d experience from cult favorites like Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+.
