Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Look Instant Beauty Palette Launches

Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Look Instant Beauty Palette

Charlotte Tilbury’s gifts us with yet another 5-Minute Face On the Go! I have some regret I purchased the other one because the new Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Look Instant Beauty Palette ($75) is much more warmer and definitely filled with shades I’ll likely use more often! As of now the Dolce Via Palette is a 2016 Nordstrom Anniversary Exclusive but I suspect it’ll launch everywhere else as we get nearer to Fall.

The palette is packed with three eyeshadows, Cheek to Chick Swish & Pop Blush (that was a mouth full), Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Bronzer & Highlighter, as well as a Travel-Size Legendary Lashes Mascara. The palette actually includes essentials for creating one of Charlotte’s signature looks, the Dolce Vita look. Pair this palette up with a nude lip and you’ll be good to go for Fall!

It’s $75 and available for pre-order at Nordstrom.com.
Will you be picking it up?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Becca Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duo

The limited edition and drool inducing Becca Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duo Compacts ($38) launch today at Sephora.com. These split pan highlighters slash blush will be available in four shade selection. Each duo contains a Mineral Blush shade as well as a gorgeous shade of Becca Shimmer Skin Perfector Pressed to highlight with. The shades can be worn individually or pain them up for a gorgeous luminous splash of color on cheeks and face!

Shades include:

  • Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Champagne Pop (soft white gold with pinky peach undertones) & Mineral Blush in Flowerchild (peachy pink, golden highlights)
  • Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Champagne Pop(soft white gold with pinky peach undertones) & Mineral Blush in Hyacinth (vibrant poppy pink)
  • Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Prosecco Pop (medium warm gold) & Mineral Blush in Amaretto (matte toasted almond)
  • Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Prosecco Pop (medium warm gold) & Mineral Blush in Pamplemousse (matte warm coral pink)

Dunno about you but I just want them all to come home with me. I’m not really a highlighter kind of girl but pairing these up with blush has suddenly caused my heart to beat a little faster and my palms to become sweaty. Must have them now.

They’ll be launching early tomorrow morning I suspect (perhaps around 9 AM EST or could be as soon as 3 AM EST) and considering the original Champagne Pop Collection sold out very, very quickly I’d say you better have your hang on that buzzer and your credit card at the ready!

Good Luck!

Yes to Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes Arrive

Yes to Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes

You know how I feel about charcoal in skin care (the power of charcoal compels you!) don’t you? I like it! You know, apparently charcoal acts like a magnetic to draw out gunk from your pores! These new Yes to Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes help to remove dirt, oil, and other grossness from your pores and they come in a black wipe infused with charcoal to d it!

Now, I personally hear black wipe and I think of the uber awesome Japanese Biore Charcoal Nose Strips. There is no greater joy than ripping off one of those nose strips and starting at it to see what gunk it ripped out of your nose pores. And the fact they are black seems to make the gross little plugs of dirt and oil stand out even more compared to the standard white strips we get here in the US! Japan even has scented nose strips. Le sigh, we are so late to the ball game sometimes.

By the way, I’m not the only one starting avidly at her nose strip after removing am I? Shifty eyes! Like put it under a microscope and examine it type starting….

I’m not alone am I?

Right?

RIGHT!!!???

Yes to Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes are available at Ulta.com. \

Oh random, thought, Jason from Wayward Pines is kind of hot. How old is he anyway? Am I going to get arrested for saying that? Oh no, we’re cool, Google says he’s 29 and married.

Damn, someone fine out his skincare routine. He looks 16!

Do Need the Belif Aqua Bomb Sheet Mask

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Belif Aqua Bomb Sheet Mask

I’m the frugal gourmet when it comes to Asian sheet masks but I’m will to dish out $8 bucks for a single Belif Aqua Bomb Sheet Mask. You see, sheet masks are a dime a dozen in Korean, Taiwan, etc…! I tend to buy them in bulk and boxes typically contain 10 to 12 sheet masks for around six to ten dollars. And yes, you get some incredible results using ’em too!

When sheet masks started to garner some interest here in the states I was rather put out by the higher price tags and quantity. Most brands were offering single pack masks for $10 and upwards. That’s insane in my eyes as I’ve been spoiled by good Asian sheet masks for far too long to dish out a tenner on a single mask.

But….

I’ll make an exception for the Belif Aqua Bomb Sheet Mask being the fan girl I am of the moisturizer from the brand. Hell, if the mask is half as moisturizing as True Cream Moisturizing Bomb I’ll be a happy girl!

This gel sheet mask is saturated with the Aqua Bomb formula and it instantly quenches dehydrated skin while providing long-lasting moisture. Apparently it also minimizes pores and improves elasticity. I don’t care about that, just bring me the moisture!

Sephora.com is serving these up in singles that are $8 bucks a pop! I have a feeling it’ll be worth the splurge!

Sephora Beauty Amplifier Lid and Liner Primer for Oily Lids

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Sephora Beauty Amplifier Lid and Liner Primer

I can’t say I have oily lids but no worries I have my own set of skincare issues to contend with! But those who do have oily lids might want to check out Sephora Beauty Amplifier Lid and Liner Primer ($12) which is a powder eye primer that creates a smooth, matte surface for eyeliner and eyeshadow to adhere to. Basically it absorbs excess oil so, eyeshadows apply more easily plus they have a smooth finish to adhere to which results in longer wear and less creasing.

Yes, I’m already thinking what you’re thinking. I read minds as a hobby. You’re thinking plain old powder will do the same thing.

My thoughts exactly!

🙂

But I will say that I’m intrigued by this product because I was wondering if it might work as a brightening base or even a setting powder and brighten for concealer?

Hmmmmm!

It might not come home with me for the mattifying action but it might just come home with me if it proves brightening at all!

Get it at Sephora.com.
