Wet n Wild Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer ($4.99) was recently repackaged and reformulated for Spring 2016 and is now available as the permanent Wet n Wild Collection. Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer takes the place of the old Wet n Wild Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer which was part of the Fergie Wet n Wild Collection.
Considering Fergie is no longer the spokesperson for Wet n Wild many items are being repackaged to reflect this change but I’m also seeing a good deal of products that are also being reformulated such as the Coloricon Blush Collection.

I purchased Wen Spring Honey Lilac Eau de Parfum recently which I think is grossly overpriced at $118 (I got it on sale for $98 big whoop!). I love the idea of these seasonal fragrances that Wen has been launching lately, but their pricing for the fragrances seems a little off to me. I don’t think the brand really fits into the niche world, and I wouldn’t call it a designer fragrance either.

On that note, I will say Spring Honey Lilac is quite delightful especially if you’re currently shopping a light, cheerful fragrance for Spring!

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Pore-Defense Primer Serum ($7) is a new lightweight primer serum that promises to tighten pores and smooth skin while absorbing excess oil throughout the day.

I happen to be a rather big fan of Hard Candy Fast & Fabulous 12 Hour Long-Wear Face Primer which why I thought I’d give Hard Candy Sheer Envy Pore-Defense Primer Serum a test out for Summer as maybe I’d like it for taming mild shine and oil that I tend to get in the warmer weather. I went into this purchase knowing I likely would not be able to use this formula right now since my skin is terribly dry.

However, I tested it out none the less and realize it’s better suited to drier skin than oily.

Remember when the Body Shop had the best sales every? Don’t get me wrong their sales are still really, really generous. And I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but their, “40% Off Everything! “Buy 3, Get 3 Off Everything” and the little asterisk that reminds you there are exclusions is my biggest beauty pet peeve ever.

Most times their sales now exclude everything and anything that’s newly released. I remember a time their sales included their entire collection. Especially around the Holidays, I recall two years ago they had 50% off storewide. This year, they had killer deals as well but many, many items were excluded.

Sad sigh.

Totally a beauty pet peeve of mind but The Body Shop Sales make me shrivel up and cry inside a little bit.

Unhealthy relationship gaming, Sex, Marry, or Kill! I used to play it all the time with my x-boyfriend (to this day I still play it with one of best friends, Mattie) Basically, we’d pick out three models, celebrities, or even some of our friends and we’d decide if we’d have sex with them, marry them, or kill them.

Every play it?

It can either make you giggle yourself silly or it can cause some major fighting.

My version is makeup and beauty related and I name it Use It, Stash It, or Trash It. I’ll give you three makeup or beauty products and you have to decide whether you’d use it, whether you’d stash it away because it too damn pretty to use, or if you’re just trash it.
