Yes, Mother has come through and we are in fact getting a new Bridgerton Makeup Collection or so it appears! The Pat Mcgrath x Bridgerton III is coming soon I believe and we’ll see it and Pat Mcgrath Holiday 2023 news drop But mostly, I want to know, is the carriage scene going to be written in Bridgeton Season 3? If it isn’t I don’t want it. If you know you know.

With the writer’s strike still ongoing who knows when Bridgerton Season 3 will launch. It’s already filmed but the release still yet may be delayed due to the strike. I’m hopeful the release of the Pat Mcgrath x Bridgerton III Makeup Collection is a hint that Season 3 is on the way finally!

So far, Mother has only teased a big palette and most of the Pat Mcgrath x Bridgerton Eyeshadow Palettes have been six pan but don’t let the reel posted on Instagram fool you. The palette seems bigger but I think it’s the standard six pan! Nothing else has been revealed from the collection thus far and I’m curious if we’ll get the standard round of lipsticks and blush palettes as well as a highlighter. I just hope she isn’t planning on repromoting shades with new packaging! That always irks me. What I’d really, really like to see is a new Pat Mcgrath Labs X Bridgerton Blushing Delights Palette. That was one of the best palettes ever. The blushes were baked and had a smooth surface with tons of pigment and a beautiful glow. I’d love to see a new version of that.

Looks like Anastasia Beverly Hills is getting back to their roots for Fall 2023. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Fall Romance Palette ($55) is the latest eyeshadow palette that will be released by the brand for Fall 2023. It contains the customary 12 shades and hey, look at the packaging. Very retro right? Giving off those feel-good Modern Renaissance vibes of old! And I’m digging the velvety burgundy! But sadly, the shades aren’t quite what I wanted from this palette. I expected a few more purples. As I said earlier in the month we’re sort of skimming through Fall lately and heading right into Holiday Makeup Collections. But the Fall Romance Eyeshadow Palette looks promising! This is giving off nice Fall vibes for me which is a rarity lately as even when brands do a Fall palette it tends to not even remind me of Fall at all!

I didn’t expect a palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills so soon after the Cosmos Eyeshadow Palette that launched for Summer 2023. But I’m ever so glad they decided to do one. Anastasia Beverly Hills has definitely slowed its pace lately and I appreciate that because I dunno about you but I personally felt like they had a new Norvina Eyeshadow Palette coming out every week.

I also feel like Fall Romance might be much more appealing to their fanbase. Don’t get me wrong there’s a fanbase for the loud, bold, outrageous Norvina Palettes as well but I do think that the more traditional launches from ABH were way more popular than that mega palette that contained really vibrant shades that not everyone could use daily. It may be bold to say so but I think people prefer palettes like Modern Renaissance and Soft Glam, etc…! It’s what put the brand on the map.

I’m eager to see what shades will be in this palette! Release and shade info is unknown but I’ll update as more info becomes available.

The Tarte Holiday 2023 Collection featuring the new Maneater Nightfall Eyeshadow Palette is now available and it’s as big as ever. One thing about Tarte they really do go all out for the Holiday Season and I can guarantee that the Tarte Holiday 2023 Gift Set selection is no where near complete. We’ll likely see more releases that head to QVC as well as ones that will trickle in as we get nearer to the Holiday Shopping season. And hey, we haven’t seen a blush set launch with this collection yet (unless you count the Amazonian Clay Party Palette Set which looks a bit like a snooze!) and I expect that to arrive at some point because Tarte always does one! Not to mention by early to mid December I bet Tarte Spring 2024 will start to slide onto the scene because beauty brands know that things can be tight after the Holiday so they double dip into your pickets during the Holiday Shopping frenzy and grab you for both the Holiday and Spring Collections all at once.

Sadly, I do find a lot of the Tarte Holiday 2023 repetitive. Some of is an incredible value but also, you have items like a Honeysuckle Holiday Maracuja Juicy Collector’s Set or All Stars Amazonian Clay Collector’s Set which are pretty repetitive in the fact they have the same round of cranberry, gold, coppers, and browns. It’s a pretty standard color assortment for Tarte and it’s really nothing you need if you’ve collected a lot of their palettes over the years. They really don’t deviate from these shades especially during the Holiday season!

Well, Lancome is over here providing that maybe the makeup and beauty advent calendar trend isn’t dead. The new Lancome Advent Calendar for Holiday 2023 is about to drop and it’s packed fill with favs from the brand including full-size and travel-size fragrance, makeup, and skincare. And no, thankfully there isn’t a hair ribbon, bracelet, or sheet of stickers included (we remember Chanel, we remember!). I think for mid-range brand this trendy has died but Luxury brands still embrace the advent calendar and with reason! They can be fun! Who doesn’t love the idea of opening up a little door daily to reveal some new beauty treat. I know as a child I loved those chocolate advent calendars why as an adult shouldn’t I love the idea of a beauty one?

Lancome unveiled their Holiday 2023 Advent Calendar this week and it will be available shortly. It will set you back $180 and includes five full-size products and 19 travel-size ones. Lancome isn’t playing. No 12 days of Christmas for them! They’re doing the whole month!

Another day, another Tarte foundation release! The latest launch is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Cloudberry Tinted Serum which is a hybrid skincare and makeup product all-on-one that provides medium, natural, super lightweight coverage along with hyaluronic acid to help plump skin for a more youthful appearance. Apparently, the sweatproof formula will brighten the look of your complexion while allowing your skin to retain moisture and keep skin looking fresh and smooth. It also contains bakuchiol which is known to improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Remember when Tarte was releasing a foundations every other week? The one thing I hate about Tarte is they release a foundation I like it disappears to be replaced by something else. This new formula sounds like tarte
Tarte SEA Hydroflex Serum Foundation which I got on sale at sephora.com (it’s still on sale) and loved. It’s super lightweight, has a skin-like finish, and brightens up my skin. Even though I have a fairly full bottle of Sea Hydroflex I indulged in Amazonian Clay Cloudberry Tinted Serum anyway. It’s on qvc.com along with a full-size brush for $39 with free shipping and considering Tarte’s serum foundations haven’t failed me yet I decided to give it a try and see how it compares to Sea Hydroflex. I’m all about lightweight, brightening coverage!

So, yeah, Tarte Amazonian Clay Cloudberry Tinted Serum is YET another foundation from the brand but I’m willing to take the plunge and try it out for size!
