With much excitement I’m happy to report that Etude House now ship to the US! You can shop at Etude House’s new online shopping site by visiting etudehouse.com!
This is a major step for Korean cosmetics! I’m seeing K-Beauty entering the US market more and more lately with store openings (Tony Moly has a store in Herald Square) and official online sites selling their products in the US.
The best part about the new Etude House Shopping Site is they have a reward system as well as coupon codes. I’m not sure as of yet what the sort of rewards they’ll offer but I like that I’ll get points for each purchase. They also have a place for coupon codes so let’s hope for some great coupons to even out the cost of shipping which ranges around $15 and upwards (ouch! But if you do orders with friends you can always split the cost).
At the moment the site has basic products and I’m not seeing any limited edition collections or items but I hope given time they’ll have more items available!
Needless to say this is really exciting news none the less!
They have a spot on their website to subscribe to their newsletter and to create an account because apparently they’ll be sending out coupon codes closer to the end of the month. You can sign up by clicking here!
Finally! I feel like I’ve waited literally ages for the Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Collection to launch in the US. Charlotte Tilbury created her cosmetic line quite recently and launched it in the UK but we’ve only see a few pieces of the collection here in the US.
But this Fall (September 2nd to be exact) the entire Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Collection will launch online then Charlotte is partnering up with Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Nordstrom in Los Angeles at The Grove for massive in store launch events in early October, and rolling out in major regional markets with Nordstrom through November.
I can’t contain my excitement!

L’Oreal’s beauty portfolio is about to get bigger as they are about to acquire and buy out NYX Cosmetics. It is undisclosed how much L’Oreal paid for NYX but none the less NYX Cosmetics will shortly be apart of the L’Oreal family.
RRTnews reports, “NYX is a dynamic company that has done a tremendous job of harnessing the power of social media, digital marketing and multi-channel distribution. Both L’Oréal and NYX share a passion for innovation and a confidence in the strength and vitality of the color cosmetics market,” said Frédéric Rozé, President and CEO of L’Oréal USA.
The brand will continue with their current leadership team and remain a California based brand!
I doubt much will change for NYX when this deal is finalized. I’m not an expert on cruelty free beauty but NYX is currently cruelty free and I imagine it will remain so after the acquisition.
What are your thoughts on L’Oreal buying out NYX Cosmetics?
Awww with a heavy heart I’m unhappy to share the news that Victoria’s Secret will stop carrying makeup. Don’t get me wrong, Victoria’s Secret Makeup is a hit or miss even but sometimes you come out of the experience with a really nice score!
Plus I admit I really liked the seasonal collections!
